WOW! JUST WOW!!

#2 DJ Moore is lined up in the slot next the the LT. Keep an eye on him.

They can say he  "injured himself on the play", and I don't doubt he tweaked something (as he came back into the game). But I think he assumed the QB was getting sacked so he "limped off" and took a seat. QB keeps play alive but it's 10 versus 11 at that point.

Sounds like things are going south rapidly in Chicago! Moore tweaked something, but to leave the field and not even act as a decoy? Yikes. And Stephenson's just icing on the cake. I wonder what the Williams factor is in all of this? When they lost the Washington game, he stomped through the bench area talking out loud and was clearly upset, harking back to his college days when he'd lose.

Williams is a young guy, but I always remember how Stafford acted when the Rodgers to Rodgers hail mary succeeded: he just tipped his baseball cap forward, blew out a big breath, sat back on the bench, and stayed professional. Williams would do well to review Stafford's actions.

Thank god for Eberflus.  There is a lot of talent on that team but little coaching.

I was listening to the NFL channel on Sirius yesterday and some bear fan called in and was saying that the only problem the Bears have is coaching. One of the hosts asked him who has the 2nd best talent in the North and of course the Bears fan said it was the Bears. The host told him that he did not believe that but would not say who he thought was. Bears fans are in denial. Maybe their talent isn't that great afterall. If a new coach is brought in the host believes that a new coach would get rid of the players that got the last coach fired. I do not see the Bears as a team like the Dungy Bucs that only needed an offensive mind to get them over the hump. So far, I don't see any kind of greatness from Williams. He runs around like Tarkenton and then throws the ball at a receivers feet of 10 feet over his head. But it is the offensive lines fault, or the coordinators fault, or the head coaches fault. or a hundred other reasons. The bears drafted the  wrong QB.

Not sure what your argument is.  The team has enough talent to be better than they are currently playing.  Are you saying they wouldn't have a better team/record with a better coach?

NFL insider reveals Giants' asking price for Azeez Ojulari trade

According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, the Giants are asking for a late fourth-round pick or early fifth-rounder.

That's it?

It should be an absolute no-brainer for the Packers if they can get Ojulari for that price. They would also need to agree to a long-term extension to avoid losing him in free agency, but he's worth it. Of all the potential last-minute Packers trade targets, Ojulari makes the most sense.

Anyone think that would be a good trade for Green Bay?

Caleb may end up being good he may end up being great, or not..who knows. But to me  he currently is the poster boy for organizational malfeasance.  He obviously has talent, seems like an ordinary kid, does/says stupid stuff occasionally.  BUT he should not be playing right now.  The Bears just went thru this with Fields, he should not have been playing either.

Itโ€™s almost like teams canโ€™t read or see or remember anything.

You would think teams would look at what MLF did with Malik Willis and what Justin Fields has looked like with Mike Tomlin so far this year and structure their offenses accordingly for young players. Willis is extremely limited in what he can do in the passing game and does not have the ceiling that someone like Caleb Williams or even Bryce Young have. He is very similar to Justin Fields. These are guys with good arms and mobility that either played in offenses where the WRs were wide open in 90% of their routes and the reads were easy (Fields at OSU) or in lower level conferences (Willis at Liberty). To expect them to come in and run a complex offense at the same level as even good, but not great, experienced QBs like Kirk Cousins or Jared Goff is just not realistic. Keep it simple, rely on the run game and play action, have 2-3 reads in a progression, and unless it's late in the game and you need to take some chances because you are behind, prioritize ball security.

Instead, these hot-shot offensive coordinators get a head coaching job after they've looked good working with Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, etc. They then want to show how creative they are and try to install a complex playbook and these young guys get overwhelmed. In 2020, Justin Fields is out there throwing to Jameson Williams, Chris Olave, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Garrett Wilson at OSU. Those guys are all 1st round NFL draft picks and on most plays get so wide open against even decent college DBs, that any read is a good read. A year later you expect Fields to drop back and throw to guys (who are actually lesser players than he was playing with at OSU) being covered by DBs that are better than almost every DB Ohio State played against until they got to a bowl game.

The Bears have a very good defense. Just have Caleb Williams play like Malik Willis and then slowly expand the playbook.

Problem is CHI hasn't been able to run with any consistency, mostly because their OL is not too good.  Same problem with their pass game/pressure on the Q.  I think Waldron is trying to lean on Caleb's scrambling/improv ability to allow them to pass more than they really should be because the run game is spotty.
