You've got to listen to this!!!

So the "Doug and OB Show" has been immortalized for their post-loss rants against the Bears over the years.  Truly a great listen. With the passing of Doug a few years ago, there's been less fanfare here about their epic meltdowns.

Well, former Bears DE and HoFer Dan Hampton is the new guy paired with OB.  I actually like Hampton, seems like a decent guy.  Well, they started the Post Game Show yesterday before the game was actually over.  Just listen to the first 2+ minutes, Hilarity!!!

Thanks for this!  Not quite as good as with Buffone, but still great.

OB after a loss to the Packers and Smokin' Jay had a bad game:

"Cutler couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a banjo!"

LMAO

Still, to me, the funniest part of the Stevenson screw up is him flying into the middle of the scrum late and then being the guy that tips the ball to the Redskin player.

If he had just ignored the play & continued taunting the fans, the pass probably gets knocked down. Him doing nothing would've probably been more beneficial

True. He could have hopped in the stands by some Bears fans and had a more positive influence on that play.

Judging by what was on the various sports shows today, no other game took place yesterday. Bores/Commodes wasn't even a game, it was just a single play!

So it has been dissected, discussed, cursed, and cussed to death.
All I can say is that was some epic dumb-assery.
That kid deserves every amount of shit he's catching; the fact it was Chitcago makes it priceless!

In the end, I don't care one way or another, but the Bores need to sit that young man for a week. Conduct detrimental and all that.
JA pulled a dumbass move last year and that's what it cost him.
Stevenson's brilliance exceeds that--by far.

I have no clue how good 29 is.  But there might be some old school coaches who would have shown him the door on Monday morning!

CHI is pretty high on Stevenson so he'll get kid gloves.

Gotta give 29 credit for going on air and talking about all that shit he did. He also apologized to the team for not paying attention and not being a professional. He knows he fucked up and apologized for that. He doesn't deserve to be cut because he's a pretty good player. If he was a 7th rounder or a UDFA, then maybe. 29 is a 2023 Bear 2nd round pick. He isn't going anywhere. They need him vs. the Packers, Lions and Vikings.

He's a good young player that probably just did  some growing up after Sunday.

They should suspend the person calling the defensive plays then too (which I think is Eberflus). Stevenson is a 24 year old knucklehead who screwed up. Eberflus made 2 idiotic decisions in a row. He seemed to take the position that Daniels wasn't going to be able to throw it that far anyways so he just sent his guys on the field and told them to drop back to right in front of the goal line.

Eberflus is a head coach/defensive signal caller who screwed up 2 plays in a row. As has been pointed out, the first play of that drive was a prevent defense that allowed an quick 12 yard gain that allowed them to even attempt a Hail Mary. If you don't allow that, you end up with the final play being a pass over the middle followed by however many laterals the Commanders could do before they lost the ball.

Then, on the final play you have one of your defenders run laterally to the LOS without rushing or dropping back to play the Hail Mary? What was the rationale for that? To prevent a 40 yard run when they needed 55 so their final rushing defense stats looked better? Did Eberflus having a fantasy team that was playing against Daniels and he didn't want to give up the 4 points for a 40 yard rushing gain?

Even their DB said they should have called a TO before the last play to make sure everyone was set properly.  That's also on Eberblus.

Pile on top of that the stupid goal line fumble after their rookie QB tried handing it to second string OL ala the fridge.  This during a late game surge to make up for riding a goose egg for three quarers and you've got an entire coaching staff going through some things this week.

Dude thinks this is a game and not a job:

Young team, they are gonna do dumb things.

But the vets in the locker room gotta handle this shit. This could take down what was a promising start. The schedule is gonna get brutal and you can't have guys questioning the mindset of the guy next to them.
