Ben Johnson also has ties to Poles.  But their interim HC Brown has a shot if he he gets that team to win a bunch more games.  Everyone in the organization has been real impressed with him.  But you still have to wonder about Poles's ability to judge coaching talent when he stuck with Eberflus last off-season and then gave the OC job to a guy who was clearly the lesser choice between him and Brown.

New QB, keep same HC & GM, lose....fire HC....now new QB gets a new HC and new OC....lose, fire GM.....new GM tasked with HC he didn't hire plus QB he didn't draft....๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸคฃAnd the cycle continues to repeat.....the Bears reporter for the Athletic really had it nailed for the last decade & a half.

Before I had to have my gallbladder (GB) removed,  I had 2 times when it got inflamed and hurt so much I got no sleep for those 2 nights.  A friend at work has a wife who also had GB inflammation, and gave birth to 3 kids.  According to him, his wife said GB inflammation was "much worse" than child birth.  Yet GB inflammation doesn't make the list but child birth does.  And I think it should because it was very very painful - and extra strength Tylenol made no difference.

QuietOne - Did (or is) that 9 lb child growing up to be an OL (assuming it was a boy)?  I have 2 grandkids from the same family who were big babies and even bigger "kids".  The 19 year old is 6-0, 250 lbs.  But he looks up to his younger brother who is a sophomore in HS at 6-5, 315 lbs.  The older is a good player and started on the OL but now plays defense for a small college.  The younger might be NFL size, but has the disposition of a very nice, non-aggressive kid.  Oddly enough he is very good with little kids.  It will be interesting to see how this goes.

Pain is pain. I had a femoral nerve trapped where it exits my spine. I went to doc's, Chiro's everything. Try therapy they said. Didn't work. I would be driving on the interstate and the pain would hit me in my hip where the nerve wraps around to the front of the leg. Felt like getting stabbed. I wanted to jump right out of the truck going 65 MPH. I couldn't walk, stand still or lay down flat. Had to sleep in my worn out recliner for 5 months before and after surgery. Still get an occasional jab some where as the nerve was damaged and never fully healed.

I sympathize and empathize, Packiderm.
I had very similar symptoms, but always thought it was my sciatic nerve was being pinched. Couldn't sit, couldn't stand up, and certainly couldn't walk.
And incredible pain that would have me on the verge of passing out.
Fortunately, I could lie down, so there was slight respite.

I've mentioned before that I was burned in a house fire when I was 15-16 years old. Second- and third-degree burns that covered 70% of my body.
Of course, I never thought I would experience that kind of pain again in my life.
But that nerve pain proved me wrong.
And I still have painful hips, leg numbness, and problems walking for any kind of distance 10+ years later and counting.

3 of final 4 vs thier rivals in the North. They won't quit.

They have an interim HC who wants to make a good showing. Beating an 11-2 team is a step in the right direction. I think the Bears will play as well as they can.

Let's see if the Vikings make a couple mistakes. It's the NFC North baby. The Bears might have only 4 wins but at least 3 of those losses could've gone either way. This Bears team is better than their record indicates.

I've been harking the same thing for the last couple weeks but boy that game vs SF says other things about that team.  They do have plenty of talent but they just looked hapless last weekend.  Local radio after that game was saying they felt played by all the praise coming out of halas hall about Thomas Brown. Guess we'll see.   The only thing I'm still pretty sure about with that team is Caleb is really good and will only get better.
