I'm glad they ended the video before he collapsed from asphyxiation.

I am a coach on our daughters 14U traveling softball team. Itβs amazing some of the shit you see and hear at these games. If itβs not some other coaches acting like complete tools itβs the overzealous and obnoxious parents that can be hard to stomach.
The older daughter made it to state sectionals for HS tennis and the head coach of her team had to confront one team and their coach because they were actually yelling and screaming and taunting members of our team during live play. A couple of the parents almost got into it. For a minute I thought someone might show the hands.
Sports has become like just like anything else going on in the world. People think they can say and do whatever the fuck they want. Forget sportsmanship and etiquette, itβs cheer and taunt and yell and win at any cost. Decency and respect is out the window for some of these rubes.
Matt Nagy probably deserves to be fired, but itβs classless to take it out on his kid in a game heβs playing.
A parent was thrown out of a soccer match for dropping an n-bomb in the direction of one of my sons during a soccer game in high school. My son actually thought it was hilarious how ridiculous adults could behave at a kids game. He's as twisted as his old man.π
Nice to see OBF out there supporting the Arlington Heights Bears.
Matt Nagy's passing offense is averaging 173.8 yards per game, good for last in the NFL.

By comparison, Sid Luckman from 1943 to 1947 averaged 189.5 passing yards per game.
So Matt Nagy's passing offense is literally less efficient than the #Bears passing offense in the 1940s.
To be fair to Nagy, some of that is the talent at QB, but still.....

They were eliminated the day they decided Justin Fields was the starter
"Eliminated".
Isn't that just another word for... well, you know...
That is some poor writing too. Last line: Bears are set to host the Giants on Sunday.
The article is from January 2 - Sunday of the TBSS hosting the Giants.
Timesfour posters have been 'reporting' that "the Chicago Bears are likely to move on from Nagy following the season" for a couple of months now.
How does Ian Rapoport get paid for this schlopp.
Iβm sure gonna miss him π’
Report leaked that Bears are elevating GM Pace to president of football operations.
That would be hilarious.
Is Nagy getting the GM job?
@DH13 posted:Report leaked that Bears are elevating GM Pace to president of football operations.
That would be hilarious.
That neuters Pace from making any personnel decisions.
"President" is mostly a figurehead and like Murphy, he'll be tasked with building the bears lame version of the Titletown District in Arlington
And yes, he'll fuck it up and we'll all laugh at the lameness of TrubiskyTown
Wouldn't he also "choose the new GM"?
@DH13 posted:Wouldn't he also "choose the new GM"?
Perhaps. In the past, that was the way it worked, but in recent times the HC has had a bigger influence on choosing the GM and any hot HC candidates coming into Chicago are likely going to make that part of their demands.
Kyle Shanahan picked Lynch, Gruden picked Mayock, Andy Reid picked Veach.
As NFL HCs have morphed into CEO's, they've taken a greater role in choosing who they want to partner with in personnel and owners have realized the value of that option.
It harkens back to Parcells comments about cooking dinner/shopping for groceries.
Are we talking about the same team? This doesn't sound like CHI.
Harbaugh leaving Michigan for Chicago?
That's an interesting proposition and not all that unlikely.
FWIW, Arkush doesn't think Harbaugh is coming to CHI. I've also read he has closer ties to people in Vegas/Raiders.
Harbaugh has also been mentioned for the Vikings. He's the NFL flavor of the week.
I hear Zimmer is available.
What a dream come true it would be for the Vikings to hire Nagy and Bears hire Zimmer.

The guy who is picking the GM and who the GM will report directly to
What was the name of that outfit the Packers hired to do a GM search?
Google? Or maybe it was Ask Jeeves.
@PackerHawk posted:Google? Or maybe it was Ask Jeeves.
Easier to ask here.
@bvan posted:Easier to ask here.
No that was my answer. They used Google to search for a GM.
@bvan posted:What was the name of that outfit the Packers hired to do a GM search?
The Bears will use Acme
@Pikes Peak posted:The Bears will use Acme
lol McCaskey said Bill Polian is leading their GM search. Dude lost his fastball about 15 years ago
Is he looking for a car or a truck?
He said Polian nor McCombs.
Itβs really interesting when you think about it. Still not a fan of the Packers βtriangle of authorityβ structure, but when you compare that to the complete apathy and indifference of the Fordβs (Detroit), Maraβs (NYG), or McCaskyβs (Chicago) Iβll still take GBβs version 100x over.
Half the owners in the NFL donβt give a shit about winning or have no idea how and it would really suck to be a fan of one of those teams.
