No, you can't bump into the receiver before the ball gets there. Just unfortunate that the ball was under thrown.

Nice play by Ha Ha to rip that out.. If they are calling control between legs, then no two feet down at that point.
Here's what's going on, I'm sure. They took X-rays. Probably didn't show anything. So they're treating the shoulder in the training room and they'll see how it responds. May be that he doesn't return, but they're going to take this half to treat it.

That Minnesota offensive coordinator is so many steps ahead of Capers it’s not even funny.
Our DL was supposed to be a strength, their OL a weakness. Sure looks like the tables are turned.
By video, I do not expect it was a clavicle fracture or even scapula (shoulder blade) fracture. I am not expecting a season-ending injury.
The worry appears to be for an AC joint sprain or a rotator cuff contusion. The hope between those two should be for the AC sprain. A rotator cuff contusion could require a longer absence.
3rd down, and we know what happens on third down...
