Could have had Jake Fromm in Round 4, possibly Round 5, without any trades. A guy that makes good decisions, gets the ball out quickly, and would seem to be a guy that would be a nice match if one were moving to an offensive scheme that leads with a power run game and isn't dependent on slinging the ball around. A guy you could develop to mold into taking over in 2-3 years if needed.
Do those guys win SBs though? Having a caretaker QB is something reserved for Bill Belichick.
Good point about Fromm Tim. I kind of forget about him for some reason. He was lights out and really poised as a true FR for the Dogs and then stayed pretty steady throughout his career.

Look, I’m not thrilled about this years draft choices either but man enough about the Niners already. They aren’t the 85 Bears.
How many times did we think wow - there is no way that team XYZ can be beat but history would tell you otherwise except if you are the Patriots the last 15+ years.
Not to mention you are assuming they play a season or a full season anyway. Tough to socially distance in football and games without fans would absolutely suck.
I’m fully prepared for the NBA to close the books on this year and completely hose the Bucks. It would be the typical Wisconsin sports fan kick in the nuts when things looked so promising. Now? Except for MLB that could pull it off (without fans) I’m not sure there will be any football come fall.
Never been a Fromm fan but that's basically based on all that first-round crazy talk. Picking him here would totally make sense.
