at # 175 GB takes Kamal Martin LBer

One that might be slower than Martinez.
Damn there goes my Badger pick.....to DETROIT??? π‘

Angular linebacker with decent straight-line twitch who takes too long to diagnose and flow, making him a viable block for climbing linemen. He plays upright and a little stiff in his scrapes and doesn't find his run fits as efficiently as he needs to. He can gather and wrap as a tackler, but will struggle to finish elusive backs in the open field and he's unimpressive as a passing-down participant. Martin's lack of early play recognition and elusive flow to ball might push him outside as a 4-3 SAM option.
Spermheads sure are loading up on WR and CB.
Go'fer the ball
Looks like he's got a little twitch, maybe a little more than Martinez. I'll reserve judgment until I see him on the field. Receiver would have been nice though.....
Decent article on Martin from two days agao
- Gopher linebacker Kamal Martinβs emotional ride continues into NFL Draft
Anyone else feel like our grade on this draft will resemble a Bart Simpson report card?
Martin was having a productive season until he got hurt. Was a one man wrecking crew in the Nebraska game.
Justin Strnad, who can actually run, went just a few picks later to Denver
Who's the best blocking wide receiver in the draft?
I mean 12th best.
I see people saying Martin can't run. I can't find his 40 time. He looks fairly athletic to me in his highlights. Why are people saying he can't run? 6'3" 240 lb linebacker in the middle sounds o.k. I hope he surprises us. I like his size anyway.
Best long snapper is off the board.
Do Gutey and LeFluer have more confidence in Funchess, Lazard, Kumerow, Shepherd, ESB, MVS and Reggie Begelton than we do? Or are they sold on someone else that they think theyβll be able to pick up later?
Can Martin kick field goals?
4.68 40 time. I'm sure poor reaction time should make up for it.

Oh I'm pretty damn sure they're sold on those guys.
I hope someone in the media really pushes Gutey hard on why...in a historically deep draft for the position, he neglects a position that he himself "definitely needed an upgrade". Now I'm sure his line will be "that's the way the board fell". BS!! Don't let him get away with that..He could have maneuvered up at anytime before the 5th round to get one. You do what you have to do. Taking one in the 6th or 7th round doesn't count Gutey...to this point...27!! 27 receivers have been taken and not a single one by Gutey. Just absolutely mind boggling
Maybe this is all a ploy to set Pettine up to fail and MLF can choose a DC of his own.
After this crazy ass draft, that actually doesn't sound like a wildly out-in-left field conspiracy theory.
Ya it does.
Would like to get K. J . Hill for a slot receiver but who knows. We may go after a backup long snapper.
Have we considered what might REALLY be going on?
Apparently AJ Dillon has palled around with Jordan Love and Kamal Martin, so is Gutekunst's draft board just AJ's contacts list?

He's lying. Or he's a horrible talent evaluator.
3 to go till our pick thru Las Vegas comes up at 192

His dad did coach the Goofers.
Pack on the clock ---> commercial. Some things never change.
Jesus Fuck... best pick of the draft for Green Bay comes in the 6th round!
Welcome to the 2020 draft Gutendumdum.
another burner WR, Quez Watkins, Southern Miss.
Runyon
YAAAYYYY!!!!!
I like the Runyan pick. Maybe a receiver next if any are left. Any idea why K.J. Hill from OSU hasn't been picked yet? Injury? Character issue? Seems like a possibility if still available. Quez Watkins, as mentioned above, also looks decent if still available. Looks like great speed.

I want James Proche
Gotta think about a WR or CB I guess if one is there... but I think this is the time in the draft to just take a bunch of big old fatties and hope a few of them have game.

Exactly, it's one or the other..his whole draft would look completely different right now had he moved up for Justin Jefferson in the 1st. All he had to do was go to #23, he had the ammo. To not do that, and then to allow him to fall to a division rival is pure negligence. At the VERY worst he could have gone up a few spots and taken Mims in the 2nd after he slid so far. Absolutely baffling

My guess is he just tells people he was drafting sarcastically
