They traded up for this?
un real. again. maybe we should relinquish all first round picks in the future, we cannot do first round picks...jesus.
Throws a nice ball
This isn’t like 2005. We were trending down then and there was no reason for Rodgers to have been available. Love is a reach and this team is a LB or two away from a SB.
Well, at least we didn’t take a Tight End. 🥴
End of the Tim Boyle era I guess.
Boyle has to be pissed
🤯

Or punter
It’s no knock on Love, I don’t know much about him. Kid could be a franchise guy for a decade. We’re just so close to a SB with this team.
@Timpranillo posted:SF picks two impact players to improve next year. We trade up to draft a shitty QB that hopefully won't play for 4 years.
Fuck you.
Seriously. He wouldn't beat out Boyle if it wasn't for draft position.
We did nothing to get better any time soon.
One person closely tied with the Packers told me yesterday re: Jordan Love: “Fifty percent chance he’s a Packer.”

But wouldn't think they'd need to trade up to do it, so ...
Hate this pick
Rodgers having a three finger scotch now
Things that make you go hmmmmWTF!
Light a fire under Rodgers?
Future of the NFL is this type of player.
Moved up for this?
I showed up for this?
Let the hating begin!
We have to be trading him, right?
Trade Arod NOW
About as thrilled as I was for Gary.

There may be something up
15 Years to the day after drafting Aaron Rodgers 24th overall, the Packers pick QB Jordan Love 26th overall.

Consensus hate for this pick means...…..GREAT PICK!!!!!
I ain't unhappy. Good kid. Learns from the best. Athletic.
Rodgers will be traded within the next two seasons. He is not going to stick around and there's loads of teams that are going to buy him up.
You don't trade UP in the first round when you have first ballot HOF'er with 4 more seasons.
Something is going on behind the scenes.
Thought for sure they had traded up for Queen. Okie doke.
Why does it feel like the season is over?
No words.
If the Packers got this right, then the future is secure. But really, the future is now and it is within reach.
This is going to take a while to process.
Well all i can say is we really don't know what Rodgers may have told Murphy and Gutey about his future. We may need Love sooner than we think right now.
Well Rodgers has been a declining whiney bitch for awhile.
So, Rodgers to the Jets in 3 years, and then to Minnesota for 2.

Ditto
Why?
Chiefs didn't need Mahomes when they picked him, did they?

Not anymore.
The part I get- Rodgers is 36, and if they think this guy keeps them relevant for the next 10 years, I totally get it.
The part I don't get is their glaring lack of speed and playmaking on both sides of the ball... and that's not getting helped there. They also need to upgrade both lines, and you could have agreed with any of those picks.
Maybe they have talked to Rodgers. Maybe he’s already told them he’s playing out his string and then he’s done.
3rd HOF'r in a row??
So they had to think Seattle, Baltimore or Tennessee were going to draft Love. Why would any of those teams do that?
