Good spot for this. I know you're all excited to see who faces off against Stephen A.

I sure the heck won’t be watching……can’t stand ANY of them……now, if you were mentioning the new “highly questionable” format…….I never miss an episode.   👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

When Tim Tebow is by far the person I would like to hear talk out a group, you know it's bad.

Per my boy friend’s “fashion shoot”

I look forward to my morning talks with [religious teammate punter JK Scott] about my idea of spirituality and his idea of Christianity. I couldn’t be having those types of conversations if I wasn’t here in Green Bay.”

Not going to be talking to JK any more……

Ummm, because he’s the only one of them that talks. The other two yell everything.

Didn't want to start a new thread, and I feel dirty linking to ESPN but:

Link to ESPNSucks

"Former NFL wide receiver David Patten, who won three Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots, was killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday outside Columbia, South Carolina, according to Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford. He was 47."

Interesting take on the Cam Newton situation.

Cam and Kark. Brothers from another MFer. Brainless twits who are all about themselves. Will the Packer pass rushers be able to lead with a helmet when tackling the plexiglass case Kark is encased in? Cole Beasley can be added to the brainless list, as well. All this uproar created by their refusal to getting the vaccines. Amazing!

Or...
Maybe the twits are those that can't respect other's decisions because they don't agree with their own.
I recall a famous coach once said (paraphrased) God, family, team...in that order.
Right or wrong, it's their decision to make according to what is best for them, their family, and their team.
Whether I agree with it or not is irrelevant.

As far as the team is concerned that order is reversed. When an unvaccinated player means the the player could miss play time just from exposure (not even contraction) or worse forfeited games, well that players “personal decision” becomes the team’s personnel decision.

Their decision is not what is best for their team. It's the exact opposite of what's best for the team. And some of these same people that are going with the "my body, my choice" line are the same people that want to take that right away from pregnant women.

When one of these guys ends up costing their team a win due to forcing players into quarantine or worse yet a forfeit that is going to cost all their teammates a full game check there is going to be hell to pay in the locker room.

And the excuses are the best part.

1. We don't know the long term effects of the vaccine: Same players know the long term effects of concussions and they continue to play knowing full well the risk involved.

2. It's not fully FDA approved: Well, now it is. Cross this one off the list.

3. I need to do more research: Bullshit. Everything you want to know is out there. Talk to a doctor if you have questions. Don't talk to so called experts on social media.

4. It's a personal matter: Yeah, of course it is. It is for everyone. Make sure you save that sentiment for Julie when she decides that the right decision for her is to terminate her pregnancy.

When your “decision “ prolongs a pandemic….I don’t respect it. Sorry.

Your right to endanger other people and their long term health is liberty!  A word that has been Orwellianized by zealots.

Tolerance of the intolerant needs to end.  Literal life and death situations, I don't give two fucks about your "liberty".

"You want to give me the pathogen so I don't get sick?  Are you mad"?

I wonder if those kinds of conversations happened when vaccines were invented in the first place or if people were just grateful they weren't going to die of measles.

Sure, but Hiram “Hig” Bottenfeld of the Akron Zips refused the polio vaccine and went on to win the league MVP, so there’s that.

His MVP was rescinded after it was discovered he greased his leg braces.

I was a pallbearer for a schoolmate back in about 1962.  Kid had polio and  lasted a while but eventually he could not breathe on his own.   Not pretty.

His family took him to Warm Springs Ga every summer for treatments etc.  we used to give him cash to bring back Georgia fireworks.

And many of his players said that he got the order mixed up many times.   Even in his own life family came after team.
