I think the two weeks off between preseason and game 1 makes it a little more tempting to play the starters for a quarter or more in the final game.
I hope Rodgers plays some just so I don't have to read by some posters how much Jordan Loves sucks.

I doubt Mahomes plays. He played 2 drives in the last game and that lead to 2 touchdown drives.
Hell of a catch from #Packers rookie Christian Watson, plucking a Jordan Love pass down right sideline over CB Rico Gafford for 27 yards on 4th & 10. Gafford wanted a push off, but no flag. Put offense at 13 with 2 seconds left.

Two straight sacks for #Packers defense. Kenny Clark blows Jake Hanson off the line, then entire DL converges on Aaron Rodgers. Then Adrian Amos picks Aaron Rodgers pass for Christian Watson. Defense is dancing and bobbing to Lil John between reps. Straight bringing it today.
Kenny Clark just discarded Jake Hanson like spoiled milk. Would’ve lit Aaron Rodgers up if he was allowed to. Rashan Gary and Quay Walker in Rodgers’ face on another play. Clark then goes through Aaron Jones and Rodgers spikes it with some frustration. This front 7 is an issue.
It’s not just the plays #Packers defense is making. It’s the confidence this group oozes every rep. The defense is kicking the offense’s ass, and it knows it.
Zach Tom truly plays almost everywhere on #Packers offensive line. He’s in at left guard on second unit right now. The rookie has played everywhere in camp except center, where he was a 2-year starter at Wake Forest.
Amari Rodgers just took a handoff from Aaron Rodgers from the backfield, like a RB. Amari Rodgers could have a Swiss Army knife roll in this offense. Could be important if #Packers only keep two RBs.
David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins did not do 1 on 1s. Not a surprise. That put Yosh Nijman vs Preston Smith. They split their reps.
A reminder of Nijman’s athleticism. If he’s relegated to third tackle, it’s a luxury for #Packers not many teams in the league have.
Kenny Clark Is ridiculously explosive. Not a news flash, but impressive to see up close. Just bulled over #Packers center Josh Myers, using a left club to knock Myers over.
Clark won both their reps. Good work for the young center.
#Packers rookie Zach Tom won a 1 on 1 rep against Rashan Gary. Beat his bull. So Gary went to a speed rush on next rep and passed Tom like he was in mud. Still, the rookie got one rep.

Of the positions we can afford to have a guy dinged up, DL is one of them...but that said, wrap that fucker in bubble wrap and get him ready for the Queens.
I really hope the play of the defense is due to scheme and personnel on defense and not indicative of a poor/porous O-line.
I would think familiarity with the Packer offense helps the defense a bit too.

Most talent we've had on defense since 2010 ... 7 First round picks starting or in the rotation. O-line needs Bak & Jenkins , they got dominated by NO first team in the two days of practice in addition to our starters doing the same daily.
Ramiz has a good night vs. KC I think he has a job for as long as he is needed like TS said in Chongo's post above. It was noteworthy that no LS appeared on that list - maybe GB signed the last one not signed to a team?

With the Packers releasing multiple players w/ injury designations, but not Dallin Leavitt, it seems extremely likely that they will keep him on the initial 53 and then place him on IR the next day opening up a roster spot to either re-sign a player or bring someone new in.
