I miss Jordy Nelson so much. Seeing those clips of him reminds me what a great Packer he was.

As good as he was on the field-and he was tremendous (and ridiculously under-appreciated by the press. I’m not going to say it…), he was an even better man representing the green and gold off the field.

I’ll go to my grave swearing up and down he’s a legit Hall of Fame candidate if he doesn’t blow out his knee. His conditioning was amazing, and he could have kept playing at a high level for a number of years with Aaron Rodgers. Their communication as a tandem was exceptional.

And Pakrz, that was my biggest concern, and the reason for so much of the angst I felt going into today. Brian Gutekunst has moved up in the draft before, but, from memory, he’s not previously made that big a jump up before, at least in the first three rounds. That’s not to say he wouldn’t do it (and he did today). I just didn’t know if he would aggressively go after the kind of guy we needed.

I am really high on the Watson pick. A receiver or tight end in the third/fourth and I’ll be really happy with the first two days. I have a feeling Rodgers is chomping at the bit to get to work with this young man.
