They really haven't had spring yet.

went to krolls last time I was in green bay and did not think they were as good as the 1st time i went there 15 years ago. Culvers now has a restaurant down the street from me (opened up in January) and this particular one has problems. The burgers are alway cold. I have gone back to Sonic across the street until Culvers works out the kinks. At least Culvers now has coke products. I am not a pepsi fan.
Two restaurants we normally hit when in Green Bay for a game weekend are Chives and Republic Chophouse.
I wouldn't eat at Culvers if you paid me. I really hope no one embarrassed Packers Nation and suggested Culvers to Simone and Jonathan.
Could you even imagine the horror

You seem like more of a McDonalds guy. Or maybe Burger King Impossible Burger.
Well that didn't take long.

There are Culvers stores in Houston so I'd bet they already know about Butter Burgers.
I think FFWYA is my favorite new poster ever.
Itβs not that we wanted him to joinβ¦.we NEEDED him to join.
This may not end wellβ¦but it will be a wild ride.

Is he/she/ze/whatever a post-transitioned Hendry? π€
The Kentucky Bluegrass is nothing without the Featherbed Bent and Northern California Sinsemilla.

Well, the Lambeau turf happens to be Kentucky Bluegrass that is reinforced with SIS Grass.
I do appreciate the Caddyshack nod.π

I acknowledge the welcome, but why would it not "end well"?
I don't think a fan forum is really that serious or deep. If discussing the Packers is a "wild ride" for some, and I make it more exciting for them, then more power to them I suppose.
Thanks again for the welcome.π

so I read JJ Watt may want to come out of retirement and play for either Green Bay or Pittsburg. If money is right and Watt can pass a physical, he may have a little left in the tank.
Also, Packers need a vet QB to back up Love. I can't believe there have not been any rumors about that. Are they really thinking their QB room is ok the way it is?
Maybe Packers are really thinking about tanking this year as reported by some Chicago writer. It is hilarious those comments are coming from a chicago writer where the bears actually did tank last year.
hard pass on watt
Did Watt retire under contract or was he a FA when he called it quits?

The Bears didn't "tank." The Bears just suck. Their fan base claim they tank every year so they don't have to admit they suck. It's an excuse. Watch by week 4 this season, Bears fans will be saying they are tanking for Caleb Williams. Bears fans are pathetic, we know this.
Why pay some crap vet to come in? I'm good with Clifford and Danny backing up J-Love. Clifford as the #2 and Danny Etling on the PS. Not wasting a roster spot and keeping 3 QBs on the 53.
Who would you pay to bring in? Chase Daniel? Nick Foles? I'll pass.
Free...Translation, if Love Sucks or goes down for an injury, tanking for the season should be the mandate? But if Love plays well and he might miss a game or two with the team in contention, you would rather give that experience to a rookie 5th round pick or undrafted free agent who probably is on the team strictly to fill a spot and has no chance of winning the game.

"Tanking" isn't an option no matter what. Just not a reality that would ever happen. The end.
Who is this great "vet QB" that you want to bring in and pay?
He just signed with CBS.
@H5 posted:He just signed with CBS.
Exactly, there are literally no vet QBs worth paying.π
I'm good rolling with Clifford and Etling behind J-Love.
Some fans think the Packers have a lot of money to be making a bunch of moves. Certainly not enough to make stupid moves.
Packers don't need a real backup QB...they haven't had one since Doug Pederson.
I think Clifford has the potential to be the next Doug Pederson--long career as a backup transitioning into a coaching career.
Matt Flynn would like a word with you.
@Goalline posted:Doug Pederson was terrible. His greatest strength was his ability to speak with Bert. The last good back up QB we had outside of Aaron in 2007 was Matt Hasselbeck.
Wait, J-Love was a good backup.
2023 is a reset, reload, recycle, rebuild... backup QB is fairly low priority.
Need to put resources (picks, money, coaching) into a young core around Love so they can compete in a 2-5 year window.
No one truly knows if Love was a good backup.
@H5 posted:No one truly knows if Love was a good backup.
Looked good when he went in. Had better stats than Mahomes vs. the Chiefs. And looked even better vs. Philly.
Was a good backup. Potential to now be a great starter.
Stay tuned...

Controversial around here so I left him out.
