With pick 245 the Packers select Tulane QB Michael Pratt
Good pick, let him sit for what 3 - 4 years??
Did they let Love know in advance?
At least we'll get to see a lot of him in the 2nd half of pre-season games.
Pratt it is.
Will either 3rd round pick be any good? The 3rd round has been cruel to Green Bay.
"As Bill Huber astutely points out, the Packers have been the second-worst team in the league at drafting in the third round under Gutekunst when accounting for weighted career approximate value (wAV), a stat that attempts to put a single number on the values of a player at any position from any season."
would like another rb but no other complaints
I'd like an Edge rusher.
Blake Watson and Eric Watts are still available.
Thee Eric Watts?
Jaden Shirdan has some quicks, too. I'm guessing UDFA RBs will be fielding calls from Dallas first.
Kalen King CB
With pick 255, their last, the Packers select Penn State CB Kalen King
Kalen King? "Bust" as a prospect. He was highly regarded a couple of years ago, but fell off a cliff. Ran slow and was embarrassed by Marvin Harrison Jr. Will be interesting to see if the early hype carries merit because there's talent.
There's a CB to complete on the back end. Hopefully more help in that area later. Maybe add a decent vet.
@AlbertBreer: Penn State CB Kalen King falling all the way to the seventh round is interesting. High hopes for him a year ago. Packers might've gotten themselves one here, if they can get him turned back around.
Is he related to Kevin King?

Hopefully this a signal the Packers have abandoned the idea you need to be 6'4" minimum at all OL positions. If Monk was 6'5" he's have an RAS over 9.8
I'm just glad we didn't draft anyone from Iowa. That was my only concern.
UDFAs already signing, especially QBS. Tanner Mordecai to San Fran, Carter Bradley to Las Vegas, Kedon Slovis to Indianapolis, Austin Reed to Chicago and Jack Plummer to Carolina already.
Edit: Sam Hartman to Washington.
Guys it would be fun to see Green Bay sign a few of:
Carlton Johnson (CB, Fresno State),
Tyler Owens (S, Texas Tech, takes Rodgers' and Bakhtiari's place as town lunatic), Akeem Dent (S, Florida State, very versatile, pre-30), Demani Richardson (S, Texas A&M), Beau Brade (S, Maryland),
Eric Watts (DE, UConn, one of the few edge players that have desired size). Zion Tupuola-Fetui (DE, Washington, injury history but talented), Nelson Caesar (DE, Houston, just a little light), Gabriel or Grayson Murphy (Edge, UCLA, smaller, but West Coast guys)
Omar Speights (LB, LSU)
Fabian Lovett (DT, FL ST), Leonard Taylor (DT, Miami), Myles Murphy (DT, North Carolina)
Kingsley Eguakun (IOL, Florida), Andrew Raym (IOL, Oklahoma)
Julian Pearl (OL, Illinois), Garrett Greenfield (OL, SD State), Jalen Sundell (OL, ND State)
Dallin Holker (TE/H-Back, CO State)
Jalen Coker (WR, Holy Cross)
Blake Watson (RB, Memphis), Jaden Shirdan (RB, Monmouth), Dillon Johnson (RB, Washington) (Chiefs already signed Emani Bailey from TCU and Carson Steele from UCLA)

Thread for UDFA and Minicamp Tryouts.
Or Trente Jones (OT, Michigan) and Mason Tipton (WR, Yale), apparently.
@ByRyanWood: Matt LaFleur says he was "shocked" QB Michael Pratt was still available in 7th round: "He definitely is a tough, fearless thrower. To me, that's prerequisite of the position. You've got to be able to stand in there and throw in muddy pockets, throw in the face of pressure."
@RobDemovsky: The Packers didn't draft a cornerback until the seventh round, and this could be part of the reason: LaFleur said Eric Stokes has been "full go" in the offseason program. "He looks great."
The same goes for Christian Watson, per LaFleur. They'll obviously know more when they get into more football stuff with OTA practices, but they feel good about his hamstring situation as of now.
I'm a little concerned that the quality of the players picked declined as the draft went on.

Put him in GB QB School. Maybe we won't have to sign a guy to a $400 million contract.
That or put some time in with him, showcase him in preseason, and get a nice return on your investment. The old Ron Wolf method
Maybe why they didnât pick an edge
@RobDemovsky: This is something: LaFleur said Kingsley Enagbare did not have ACL surgery following the knee injury vs. the Cowboys. He said it was never confirmed that it was a torn ACL. His rehab has gone well and may not miss as much time at the beginning of next season after all.
My favorite picks of this draft are Monk and Lloyd. Hoping Monk can replace Meyers at Center leaving Morgan and Tom to sort our RG and RT. Maybe even Caleb Jones is in the mix at RT this year
I see no reason to move Walker out of LT. Kid shined down the stretch, I roll with him.

I was noticing the same but wasn't sure if I should bring it up. In doing some research, I've noticed this is a concerning trend with Gutey. Either he gets bored with the draft as the days progress or he's getting old and tires out. Either way, I think the Packers should consider having a different silo pick the third day next year.
Maybe borrow Elliott Wolf.

Not sure that Packers are sold on Walker. Belichick says that Morgan is a LT.

That's Tight End back in the day, right there. Yep!
Yeah Walker hasn't guaranteed anything as a LT but I don't think drafting Morgan means Gute doesn't believe in him. I think Walker, Morgan, Toms, Monk, Meyers, Newman, and Rhyan are going to duke it out and the best combination plays (Jenkins is the only one guaranteed a starting spot). And that's awesome.

Agree though I think Toms is guaranteed a spot - weâre just not sure if itâs RT or Center.
My favorite smh moments of this draft were 1) when Atlanta drafted Penix and it was news to Cousins. 2) After Chicago drafted Caleb Williams, arguably the best QB, in this draft, they end their selections by drafting a Punter. 3) Minnesota drafts a Kicker. All that, was after they got played by the Jets for a QB and they reached for Dallas Turner, IMO. 4) The Jets drafted a QB. Rodgers and Cousins now share a darkness retreat tank somewhere near an ayahuasca den.
