Kupp is one hit away from worthless. There's going to be incentives up the wazoo in any deal involving him, imo. The Jets already got fleeced of their draft capital . Hard to find the sucker at the table of the legit playoff contenders that remain.

If Tua was making 900K a year he'd be retired by now.
If he voluntarily retires, he could lose about 120 million dollars. He's already made a lot of money, but 120 million is a lot of money to walk away from.

Like most other QBs, Darnold is a completely different player when he is under pressure. And the more consistent the pressure, the quicker he is to force a throw.
....and now that they lost their best O-Lineman (Thanks coach KOC) that pressure should increase on a game by game basis.
He's nowhere near the player he was in Buffalo but I mention it here because TT really liked him & Buffalo stole him 1 pick before the Packers causing TT to trade down.
I think this might be more important than having the cheap QB contract.
