MM has Jerruh right where he wants him now.
Jerruh will probably try to low ball MM with a 3 year deal & MM will tell him 5 years or I'll go elsewhere or retire.
3 straight years with 12 wins in this league. He's proven himself a damn good regular season head coach in Dallas.

It may have nothing to do with it and I don't know how instrumental PC was in Russel Wilson's development but RW is the closest comp I can think of for Caleb Williams.

Jerruh's ego is so huge that he thinks there is no way a coach wouldn't want to work for him. I hope MM gives him the finger and moves on and comes back to haunt Jones.
But honestly who would want the Cowboys job? You will have an owner who thinks they a good GM and will meddle in everything you do and expect you to be his lap dog.

Firing Mike Vrabel, the second most successful coach since the team moved to Nashville, because he didnât think Carthon was ready to be a GM only to fire said GM 12 months later is really something, man. This franchise is infuriating.

How does one become certified as a football person? Was Carthon not a football person? If two football people don't get along, do you need to appoint a third football person to decide between said football people?

There's a draft guru course you can take. Each unit focuses on a different position. If you go through all those courses and pay the tuition you should become a qualified football person. There website says their courses will qualify you from doing anything like pursuing a job as a scout to becoming a super fan.
Are Mayock or Kiper teaching the course this year? If so I am in! Do I just post my bank account and routing number here or is it a cash under the table kind of thing? Because that's cool I don't trust the IRS either.

MM would be one of the best possible outcomes for Caleb Williams. Footwork and fundamentals are what Williams needs work on.
MM might not provide the highest ceiling for the Bears overall record, but if you want to set up Williams for long-term success, MM is your best bet if they can't get Ben Johnson.
