Love is awful when he has to throw the ball more than 20 yards downfield. He's somewhat like Hundley in that he seems to struggle to anticipate how to throw a guy open. He's fine with he throws to a defined spot (back shoulder throws).

I didn't expect them to be a playoff team this year, but the key thing was seeing how Love played and Love has not looked good after the Falcons game. He's the type of QB right now that loses you games. The last two losses ended with under thrown passes. Watson could have fought more last week, but both of the last plays were terrible throws. And one of Love's TDs today was a terrible throw that Doubs bailed him out on.

Blame Love all you want but the holding penalty turned a 3rd and 3 into 2nd and 20. That pretty much seals the fate. That's when I knew it was over. Even a 15 yard gain on 3rd down leaves a 55 yard FG.
That was a smart call by Denver, something that MLF would never think about doing.
