Atlanta has erupted in the third because Lopez was dropping constantly. It's maddening.
Again why is Lopez out there Bud?
I didnât see Giannis go down. Ugh. I hope itâs not as bad as everyone is saying.
I hope thatâs not used as the excuse when we lose. We were playing like ass long before he got hurt. I just hope heâs ok.
The Giannis injury might be the most devastating injury in Wisconsin sports history. There is no way a doctor will clear him to play for at least several weeks and they shouldn't even consider it without a full MRI.
The Bucks are unlikely to ever get this close to a title for a while.

They were within 8 points on the play he got hurt. They were playing awful but had maintained enough contact to steal another one in the second half. It was starting to trend that way. When he went down, the entire Bucks team just basically gave up. It was obvious in body language.

Youâre up 2-1 in the ECF. Atlantaâs young superstar is out hurt. Youâll never get a better opportunity to go to the finals for the first time in my almost 50 years on this planet.
And the Bucks come out flat and lazy.
Inexcusable. We can blame Bud, and should. But where is this teamâs pride? Win a gimme game, and youâre guaranteed of getting back to Milwaukee with a chance to close it out.

Why are we down 8 to them without Young in the first place? How does that happen? This isnât Brooklyn with Harden and/or Kyrie out, and KD carrying the team. After Trae, they really have nothing. And yet theyâre still playing like a bunch of disinterested pussies.
Well, Budâs getting fired after getting throughly outcoached by McMillan. In truth, he was also outcoached by Steve Nash.
If Middleton gets a flagrant on that, he should just completely whack him next time. The fact that one official thought that was a flagrant is unbelievable.

Not really. Steve Nash had Kevin Durant. It's not like he was doing anything complicated. Of course, Bud made it easy by leaving Lopez in the drop.
This series is over. This team doesnât have the heart and Bud doesnât have the brain.

Nash is a young coach. A good coach puts them away early.
Just get all the rotation guys out. There is not use playing them in the 4th. Only bad things can happen.
I put it on Budd. They were not on fire, played like it was in the bag.
Bucks confirm the obvoius. Giannis out for the rest of the game. I hope it isn't his last game until about next April.
Willis will play Thursday
In Games 1, 2, and 4 Middleton has gone 2 for 23 from three.
This is just stupid. Why play these guys at all? Get Nwora, Diakite, etc. in. You are down 25 points with a deflated team. You could play a perfect quarter and still get no closer than 10.
Well, I was wrong. No pride, plus the injury. Is Becky Hammon available? Definitely show Bud the door.

All we need now is somebody lacking courage, and wait to see Dorothy skipping down the Yellow Brick Road.
Will someone explain the logic to me of having Middleton in a game when the Bucks are down 20 in the 4th after Giannis got hurt ?

I hope you're right, but I think the next Thursday night he'll play is in 2022.

The Bucks were real close to pulling the trigger when they hired Budenholzer.
They come back home where the role players can thrive. Unfortunately this one is going 7.

So he can keep tossing up bricks from 3, and pad Atlantaâs rebounding stats?
Has any athlete in Milwaukee sports history been more Jekyll and Hyde than Khris Middleton? How can one man look so unstoppable one night, and look so utterly lost the next?

If Giannis is done, I think they lose in 6. And I think he's done.
Holiday was horrible too and giannis in the first half.
Holiday and Middleton look like they think the season is over on the bench.
"Hawks in 6" chant.
Take out Giannisâ 7 for 10 from the floor, and Milwaukee is 25 for 70. Thatâs 35.7%.
Middleton is -25 tonight, 6 for 17 from the floor, including 0 for 7 from 3, and has 4 turnovers.

You can throw all the stats out the window after Giannis got hurt. They were meaningless.
This guy on twitter makes a good point.
If he plays another game this season, he's truly a freak of nature. There is no way they clear him to play.
Itâs truly a fitting way for this game and playoffs to go for Giannis to go down with a serious knee injury. I mean, why wouldnât it happen to the Bucks?
Once again the roller coaster with this team continues. Youâre up 2-1 and Young gets ruled out and it should have been a cakewalk to 3-1. Instead, they come out and play like shit and Giannis goes down and they basically mailed it in.
I understand Bud didnât cause Giannis to get hurt, but once again they looked lost and ill prepared and Iâm sorry thatâs on him.
The series isnât technically over but barring a miracle from Middleton and Holiday (who played gutless BTW) it probably is over. Had they gotten game 5 I would feel a lot better but alas it wasnât meant to be and what should have been a laugher all of a sudden went the other way. Just disappointing if not predictable.
Milwaukee gets 2 of 3 at home. Can they do it?
@YATittle posted:I put it on Budd. They were not on fire, played like it was in the bag.
Bud is an idiot, and I want him gone. Iâve said it before. And again, we can place a whole heap of blame on his being an albatross on this franchise with his inability to game manage/adjust on the fly.
But Iâm sorry. I have to place the majority of the blame on these players. You just punched the Hawks in the mouth in game 3 to go up 2-1 in the conference final. Game 4 and 5 are in Atlanta, 6 and 7 are in Milwaukee (iirc), and their best young player-by a great margin-is out. The Hawks, if the Bucks come out asserting themselves in game 4, are done. Being down 2-1 without their best player is a nightmare scenario against any other quality opponent.
But not against the Nyucks. No Trae? No problem. Get in Giannisâ head, and heâll start clanking three pointers, and doink 59% of his free throw attempts. Khris Middleton will morph into Droopy the cartoon character, missing 3 after 3.
These guys are making more money than any of us to play a game. Giannis, KM and Holiday are making a fortune, and playing like they really donât give a shit.
Middleton, in his last 11 playoff games, is shooting 41% from the floor, and 31% from 3.
FG 93 for 226
3 PT 27 for 87
Take out Game 3 from this series, where he was 15 for 26 from the floor, and 6 for 12 from 3..
FG 78 for 200
3 PT 21 for 75
Heâs shooting 39% from the floor in the other 10 games of the Brooklyn and Atlanta series, and 28% from 3 PT.
Thats terrible. Thereâs no way to make that steaming pile of cow flop smell better.
Barkley hit the nail on the head .... I heard Coach K say many times "every team needs a MFer" ...this team doesn't have one.
@lambeausouth posted:All we need now is somebody lacking courage, and wait to see Dorothy skipping down the Yellow Brick Road.
Would that be Dorothy Stratton?

Did he happen to mention any candidates the Bucks should be looking at next season to fill that role? Because, Iâm thinking this roster needs a serious overhaul.
I just donât get the burning desire to win from this team. They say all the right things, but on the court performance speaks much more loudly. When you have your foot on somebodyâs throat, you finish them.
âIt's not good losing anybody on your team,â P.J. Tucker said. âLosing a player stinks. But we didn't come out with energy tonight. We just thought we was going to walk in and win the game. We didn't do anything to show that we wanted to win this game tonight. We were flat, and our guy's injury was just another piece of the puzzle to us losing.â
