Yes, I am fully aware of all that.  Following the Packers for 50+ years should have taught me something.  Maybe I did not word my previous response very well.  I just meant for today's cuts - that's all.

Goodson over Rolle...I don't get it. Small gripe, but still.

Stoneburner is a curious move. He seemed just fine thursday night

5 DL is oftly risky.  Imagine that Mulamaba still on the fence as they look for a 6th DL. 11 LB's seems like overkill to me.

 

Also puzzled by keeping Goodson over Rolle.

The P word. No, not poo. Potential. Goodson does play so hard and competes like a son of a gun, but he is so raw.

Michael Sam would be a nice addition. Get him Teddy!

Neal and Peppers can move there in a pinch.

Julius Peppers and Mike Neal are officially listed on the roster with a dual position (LB/DE) but are listed here with the linebackers.

First a Ram and now a Packer.. Go figure. 

Thornton was going to make no impact this season. At best he's a raw player who need a lot of development. His injury was the only noticeable thing he did all summer.

Whew, glad that's over. Only head scratchers were Rolle,Banjo cuts and keeping Flynn. But also insignificant in the grand scheme of our SB SEASON OF DESTINY!!!!!!

Lots of other teams feature 260lb DL.

I think that Bradford's spot is not all that secure either.  When TT finds someone he likes better, maybe he is cut, passes waivers, and is signed the Packer PS. 

For the most part, I'm very pleased.  I think they got it right (yeah, like TT Or Coach Mike really need MY advice.  However, i am shocked Goodson made it over both Rolle and Micah Hyde.

oops, my bad.   Micah Hyde DID make it.   Still shocked that Goodson made it over Rolle though.

So the Packers get nothing for Worthy.

I don't see how they roll into the year with just 5 DL. Even with Peppers able to play there and perhaps Neal...gotta think they'll be scouring the market for another body up front.

I'm hoping White and Dorsy both make it to the practice squad.  Hill and Perkins too.

Unless Dom is going to switch in and out of a 4-3 look with Perry, Peppers, and Neal I have to think Malumba and/or Bradford are placeholders for a 6th and possibly 7th DL. 

 

Regarding Rolle/Goodson. We don't know the first damn thing what the coaches saw beyond what we saw in games. If Green Bay ended up needing either this year then something went horribly wrong. Someone in the scouting department sees something in Goodson. Shields, Williams, Hayward, House, Hyde. I'm sorry but I'm siding with the people responsible for that collection. 

If the biggest concern is over who the #6 CB is, you've got a pretty damn good team.

Agree completely.  Rolle showed way better ability to play.  Wouldn't have dropped Banjo either.
