Put up or shut-up.
Sure hope the Crew can gain ground on these beasts........and WIN.
Starters for tonight: Kyle Hendricks (R) 7-8 ERA 3.41 winless in his last 5 starts.
Brewers send out Gio Gonzalez (L) 2-1 ERA 3.60.
Since a 2-8 slump in early July, the Crew have won 6 of their last 9 games.
You just jinxed them
This series may go a long way toward determining buying or selling
Crap. Gio going great but gives up a 2 run bomb. Down 2-0.
Crew works to bases loaded....and up comes Travis ****ing Shaw. ****
And he made an out.
After all our discussion on the board about the need to get more pitching, we get a gem from Gio and have only 2 hits through almost 7 innings.
one swing of the bat by Yelich would tie it.
2-0 Cubs bottom 7
RBI single Yelich drives in one
Didn't know Gio left with a shoulder injury. Probably worse than an oblique strain.
bases loaded with Brewers, GAMEL at the plate two out.
here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at first they said left shoulder tightness,
3-2 Brewers top 9, Hader on the mound!!!!!!!
Hader mows em' down. Nice win !!

Again, and again, and again. He's not good.
Houser gets the win, Hader gets another save, and we made the Cubs bullpen work .

I love that Gamel kid. He's been great for the Crew this season!
That was just a fantastic win last night. Gamel just always knows what to do. A Pro's Pro. All the way. Hader was lights out!
Gamel gets them started again tonight with a homer. Brerwers tie it up 2-2 in the 8th.
Going extra. Staying with Peralta and he gives up a HR on a 2-0 pitch. Peralta's got great stuff but he got to either 3 ball counts or behind in the count on 4 of the 5 guys he's faced so far. You can't keep doing that without getting burned.
Cubs up 3-2.
Yelich, probably Saladino, and Hiura.
If you had to pick two guys it would be Yelich and Hiura. Let's get this back.
That Yelich guy is pretty good.
Hiura's not bad either!
The Cubs 15 million dollar closer serves up 2 HRs to lose.
What? No one else watching? That might have been the game of the year so far.
Just saw the Crew kicked the Cubs ass again.
DISH has dropped Fox Sports WI so I can't see the game now. Was following on SI. Gotta love our kids, Gamel, Yelich and Hiura.
No way!!! Awesome game! Yelich & Hiura!!! Phenomenal.

Oh, and I live in Minnesota......donβt get to watch the games on any regular basis....I just check the score on my iPad and am so freaking ecstatic the Crew won.

I look for a Reddit stream.
Someone else has said how much Hiura's swing and presence reminds them of a young Paul Molitor. I agree.
Living in chicagoland listening to their stupid ass announcers, this was priceless
Had to be fun, GBPF4L. Whoah! Unreal showing by our Crew!
That really was something to see. Amazing game. Again. Go for the sweep!
Itβs sure getting interesting... Yelich taking Kimbrell deep in the lead off at bat just set the whole thing in motion.
How about that Hiura kid, though... wow.
