I am not going to say much about the Cowboys other than F*** them and the ESPN Cowboys network  The other thing I will say is it going to be epic when they lose in the playoffs.

Now back to the game on Sunday is anyone going?  I will be 13 rows up behind the Packers bench on the 45 yard line.  My wife gave me those tickets for my birthday.  Yep I think I will keep her

I was checking out some messages boards for Lions fans.  Holy sh*t, they've got a lot of paranoid, whiny bastards in that base.  They seriously think that the NFL conspires to screw them and help the Packers via poor officiating (that favors the opposition).  And they are completely unapologetic about their b*tching and conspiracy theories.

I hope we kick the sh*t out of them and give them something else to cry about.

Just shocks me that the fan base of a team that pulled off numerous 4th qtr comebacks believes that the refs are out to get them.  If that was the case, do you really think all of those late victories would have been possible?  Ridiculous.

Oh, can I play...I pick since the 1996 season.....what's the count now?

Yeah, but I choose to look at since 1996 season...a nice round 20 year period of RECENT history when both teams were in existance.

I have to admit if they win and make some noise in the playoffs it would go a long way to curing PTSD.

Catts or Jaymo? Hmmm... I vote Catts, as long as she ditches the "purrr" thing. That's annoying -- and overplayed!

Packers are going to Run the table.™

Trademark my nutsack.  Rodgers turned the team and the season around with that phrase.  What kind of dinkhole fan would want to take credit for it?

You seem irritated. Lashing out at others like that. Are you okay?

Just because Rodgers said he thought they could run the table back at 4-6, and just because Satori was the first to post the phrase here this season after AR said it, does not preclude someone from ™ the phrase.

The wild card in this is, of course, our cornerbacks. If Randall, Rollins, and Gunther play at even a competent level this should be a win. However, I have no confidence in them right now and I could see a 38-35 type game that comes down to whoever has the ball last.

Those are Viking fans posing as Lions fans. It's got their fingerprints all over it.

Mrs. FinnLander is from Saint Clair Shores (40 min. from Detroit).  Every Lions fan in her family is absolutely convinced that the entire NFL is against them.  It's really a bit unbelievable how certain they are.  Needless to say, I enjoy our family gatherings.

Getting down to brass tacks. Detroit secondary can't match up with GB recievers while accounting for Ty in the backfield. They can't. At all. I expect Detroit to blitz with reckless abandon. All game long.

So IMO it all gets settled by the Packers margin for error vs. Dom Capers.

Dom will need to win this game. If Dom gets key stops and a turnover or two GB wins this game.

I see zero punts in this game.

Final score - 55-52 with Crosby hitting a 55 yard FG as time expires.

Both teams cover the 49 required to go over.

After the way Ty and the interior line handled the inside blitz last week it would be the smart move for Det.

Im also sure MM and company "will get that fixed" and have some plays ready to counter it.

Disagree Fedya. The only way the Packers lose is if they beat themselves.

Watched a replay of 2015 Thursday night game vs. Lions.

Packers were down 20-0 in that game. I had forgotten how bad they looked in the first half.

Fortunately a couple turnovers helped the Pack climb back into it before the final untimed down/hail mary full of grace.

Man what a throw!

Then let's start at 1960 shall we?   Not 1966.  From 1960-1965 both teams could have won the league championship, right?  Since 1960 the packers have appeared in eight championship games (1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1996, 1997 and 2010) winning seven (1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1996 and 2010).  We're done here.

Last night, on NFL Network, they played the NFL Replay edition of the 2015 Packers at Lions.  Watching in utter disbelief, I completely forgot that we ended the first half down 17-0, and dug a deeper hole at 20-0 in the third quarter.

Our first touchdown came on a James Stark forward fumble into the endzone recovered by Cobb.  Then an immediate turnover led to the next.  Rodgers had his long tiptoe into the endzone and the score was 23-20 after a Lions field goal.  Then the last 0:16 seconds happened and everyone went bananas.

Watching that game last night reminded me how miserable that game was for almost three full quarters.  This time around the Packers need to score quick, and often.  They can't play on their heals against this Lions team and hope for the 4th quarter miracle.  The secondary has to show up, plain and simple.

Win the game in the first half.

Our offense is playing slightly (sarcasm intended) better than they were then. Just thinking how much faster our offense is right now with; Monty / Michael instead of Lacy / Starks; Nelson instead of Jones; & Cook instead of R. Rodger, et all
