Not trying to be a jerk, but why would you want to bring in a guy that is NEVER healthy?  The Packers already have a serious injury problem and this guy is as brittle as they come.  Also, offense is not where The Packers need to sign free agents.  I've said this before, fix the defense and everything else will be gravy.

Best stat that sums up how truly bad the Raider teams were that McFadden played for. In his 7 years in Oakland he racked up 13 tackles.

I wouldn't spend a lot. I wouldn't offer him anything more than 1 year. Someone is going to give him a 1 year audition to prove he deserves a longer contract. As long as he's not the featured back he's worth a look. Price has to be right though.

In other news the Vikings heard from Adrian Peterson: Adrian Peterson ✔ @AdrianPeterson Follow @MikeVick would intently make the vikings a playoff team! I hope he meant instantly but with that excellent Oklahoma edumacation couldn't spell it. At any rate go ahead Vikes, pay Vick millions to play in Minnesoda. He'll look real good in the snow and purple.

Colts signed ILB D'Qwell Jackson to a four-year, $22 million contract.

The deal includes $11 million guaranteed. In desperate need of a steadying presence next to Jerrell Freeman, the Colts have overpaid for linebacker help in free agency once again. This time they add a leader and one of the game's most prolific tacklers, but one that is entering his age-31 season, fits better in a 4-3 scheme and has struggled badly against the run over the last two years. Jackson also had visits with the Titans, Broncos and Dolphins.

@MikeGarafolo

Jets, Packers among the teams interested in former Vikings TE John Carlson, who is visiting the Cardinals today.

Carlson was released last week by the Vikings. He is currently a street free agent and is not bound by the same rules as the upcoming class of unrestricted free agents that hit the open market next week, meaning he can sign with a team at any time.

That is such an amazing coincidence !

The Packers are currently talking to both Finley and Quarless' agents...and then stories leak of their interest in TE John Carlson. And TE Garret Graham. And TE Eric Ebron. And Finley's camp leaks stories that he's almost ready. And Quarless' camp leaks stories that Ben McAdoo and the NYGs are all over him.

Good thing we have so many reporters willing to help out
