It clearly looks like Rodgers lied about this and there is a mountain of tape showing that he willingly violated NFL protocols. I think a suspension has to be coming.

As much as I abhor the idiocy of Cousins and Beasley, at least they didn't lie about it. Rodgers probably thought his "special remedy" he came up with meant he was never going to get it, so who was ever going to know.

If the NFL doesn't give him a lengthy suspension, they have no credibility enforcing the protocols on anyone else.

A football question relevant to this (admittedly secondary to health concerns), if he got a lengthy suspension does that come with any salary cap relief for the Packers?

The reports so far suggest the NFL has consistently treated him as an unvaccinated player, regardless of how he characterized it in August. That means that if the league saw him violating protocols for unvaccinated players they would have fined him immediately (e.g., Gruden last year with his chin diapers).

MLF said today the league has not been in touch with them regarding any potential protocol violations, so I don't see how they would all of a sudden try to discipline him since they've considered him unvaccinated since day 1 of the season and have been monitoring him for violations accordingly.

The one question mark is whether they are investigating the Halloween party.

Pissing down our collective legs doesn’t help/change the situation. AR made his decision and now we move forward to see what young Mr. Love can do. I’m actually pretty damn excited for the game.

Same. Aside from it being an away game at a LOUD stadium, this is a pretty good opponent to make his starting debut. It's not a cupcake team like the Lions or Jags. But it's not the Bills or Bucs either.

You can run on the Chiefs. They are 29th in total defense, giving up around 122 yards rushing per game. That should help Love.

Certifiable.

Over the AR situation?  What were your expectations of the front office?

Competence.

Over the last 6 years in particular but even further back.  Trying to buy off Bert.  Being asleep at the wheel over TT and MM.  Changing the structure to a meddling president, a GM wannabe money man and dupe GM scout.  Lowballing Rizzi.  Completely ignoring positions on the team.  Dumbfuckery in regards to Rodgers in the offseason and now what is looking like will be some backlash over Rodgers status due to reporting/handling.

The last part is pretty much all on Rodgers but zero chance the FO/organization as a whole doesn't look like a bunch of clowns in over their heads.

I don't know how any FO could take such a fucking gift and find 50 ways to fuck it up.

They have had to know since the beginning.  I’m guessing they are the least shocked by this.

Maybe pleased the court of public option is swinging away again, since his play on the field reminded everyone how dumb it was to write him off so soon

still ducking dumb of AR as a leader on the team to put himself in this situation

The Packers may have to at least deal with this.

Unless the original rules changed, this is clearly a violation of the NFL policies (unless they were walking to different planes, but I can't imagine the people there taking pictures would have failed to notice that).

Rodgers was literally on McAfee YESTERDAY talking about how he was on the plane back from AZ, how they had to get off the plane cuz of mechanical issues, and was then on the bus with all the other players for an hour reading the Rodgers memes from the game, and how he got back on the plane with the others back to GB after that.  He's obviously been flying with the team.

But lots of teams have been not following the rules as the year has gone on.  I remember Cousins and Theilen in MN wearing masks on the sideline earlier in the year and now they don't.  Cousins and Beasley give pressers too.  Nobody in the league seems to give a shit anymore, and the NFL hasn't done squat (probably because nobody raised a stink, until now that is).  NFL needs to follow their own rules they set forth if they want people to take it seriously.

Clearly this woman knows what she's talking about. The first thing you learn in chemistry is that negative charges like to bond to other negative charges.

Active Players who are not fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask on the sidelines.

Are domed stadiums considered "indoors"? In other words, would Cousins technically have to wear one for home games but not in outdoor stadiums for road games?

Domed stadiums and indoor practice facilities are not considered indoors, and if Cousins is an Active Player he is not required to wear a mask at all on the sidelines--vaccinated or not. If he is inactive, he must wear a mask if unvaccinated.
