Nah, this is just too good, too unexpected, too wonderful to go back to the sadness of being 2-5 and wondering if Love was legit.

(Except if Barry screws the team over with his calls. Then all bets are off.)

I like the non NFC Central road games. Philly imploded down the stretch as did Seahawks.   Trevor Lawrence beginning to look like he is not the "one".   Titans might be in a full rebuild, we should know more on that in a few days.  All of those teams might be worse than this season.

Most important stat from a Dallas player:     Stat to know: It's no surprise that cornerback DaRon Bland leads all outside corners in lowest EPA allowed as the nearest defender, according to NFL Next Gen Stats, given his five pick-sixes. But the number that stands out: Despite the picks, Bland has allowed 1.5 yards per coverage snap heading into Week 18, the 21st highest (worst) by an outside corner with at least 250 coverage snaps. Put those two numbers together, and what does that say? Bland is a boom-or-bust corner who is the definition of an X factor for Dallas in the playoffs.

I hope Love and reed and Wicks  can make him a bust.

Yes.  I have a friend who is giving me 50 yard line seats lower level to a game in Lambeau next season.  (The game to be decided later).  And I’ll get tickets to the Eagles game as I haven’t missed a Packers vs Eagles game in Philly in 30 years.

Just an FYI ....he hurt his foot/ankle plus his shoulder. Before that happened, he was playing very well

I do know he's going to have to flatten out some of those mid level balls he throws or DAL will pick them off.

Maybe. No one was picking them the last 10 weeks.

Don't believe everything you think you see on TV.

He didn't need touch on the 2-3 balls I am referring to, he wasn't lofting them over defenders into a basket.

He hasn't been picked so far but CHI was without their all pro DB Jaylon Johnson. Not sure he doesn't pick one of those off.  DAL D is also very good at home.

Again, I'm knitpicking but there is room for improvement, believe it or not.

IF Johnson plays, not sure Love throws some of the balls you are concerned about.

Woulda. Shoulda. Coulda.

1 or 2 games getting away with the throws you note is luck... doing it for 10 weeks without getting picked is a guy confident in what he is seeing, in his arm, in his receivers.

I always thought the same about Phillip Rivers. The eye can deceive.

Dallas has been really good offensively but that ain’t hard to do when you play Washington and the Giants twice, the Jets (no Rodgers), the Cardinals (no Kyler), Carolina, and New England.   They beat the Eagles once, but got trucked by the Niners and Bills.  Lost to Miami as well.

Defensively, you can run on those guys and they are +10 in turnover margin.

Packers have been pretty good at moving the ball, Jones has been a maniac, and they’ve not thrown picks or fumbled much.

The pressure is all on Dak and the Cowboys in this game.  Just need to not get blitzed defensively and keep it close.  Then rely on Jones and hopefully get a couple of gifts.

How is the Dallas defensive backfield as a whole?  It seems like with the Packers' combination of WRs and TEs where everyone is able to step into multiple roles, a standout DB is less impactful than a group of competent defenders across the board.

Dallas best defense is their pass rush, Dexter Lawrence & Micah Parsons. (Almost said Hyde 🤭) The O-Line going to need to be outstanding on Sunday & J-Lo going to need to ball out like he has been for 8-10 weeks.

On defense JoeBa needs to continue the momentum of the last 2 games.

Keep it going boys and scare the crap outta the Cowboys maybe get a couple takeaways

2021 NFL Draft, First 70 picks overall. One of the worst QB drafts in NFL history given where these guys were taken. Even the 2nd and 3rd round guys were busts in that they aren't even decent backup QBs.

Trevor Lawrence - 1

Zach Wilson - 2

Trey Lance - 3

Justin Fields - 11

Mac Jones - 15

Kyle Trask - 64

Kellen Mond - 66

Davis Mills - 67

The 2020 QB draft has 5 guys better than anyone in the 2021 draft. There is no one worth anything in the 2022 draft. The 2019 draft wasn't much better.

Burrow - 1

Tua - 5

Herbert - 6

Love - 26

Hurts - 53

The 2022 draft looks like it will be historically bad for QBs.

Pickett - 20

Ridder - 74

2019

Murray - 1

Jones - 6

Haskins - 15

Lock - 42

Bottom line is that there were 19 guys taken in the top 70 or so picks in the 2019-2022 drafts (after Rodgers turned 36 years old).

Two look like future HOFers (Burrow and Herbert)

5 to be at least good, above QBs with an even higher ceiling in some cases: Hurts, Love, Tua, Kyler Murray, and Lawrence.

The other 12 range from abysmal to replacement level.

Packers win ROMMM gets bounced. Packers can have a hand in firing him twice.

Why would we wish for his firing?  He's a decent man and, despite some shortcomings, did his best for the Packers, including  winning a Super Bowl with a bunch of back up players in critical roles.

The big key to this whole game is DAL @home.  They are Jeckel and Hyde home/away.  They are averaging 40+/game at home and giving up under 20.

DAL O will keep pressure on GB to throw to keep up on the scoreboard.  Their DB's are opportunistic and therefore a bit up and down.  One guy has 5 pick-6's just this season.  Sounds like they have some injuries coming out of yesterday's game but severity and availability hasn't been released yet.

If GB can get ahead early they will be able to slow the game down with their running game, keeping the DAL O on the sideline and our D rested.

If this recent version of our D continues, GB has a really good shot.

..and if David Bahktiari played we wouldn't have given up that drive ending sack that led to a missed FG.   79-9 Packers.

The key to the game for the Packers is the running game.    Can't be in 3rd and long against these guys often and expect a lot of success.

Pound them and wear them down, keeping Parsons in check by running at him all day.

Yeah, my nephew is a die hard Jags fan ever since their inception. He was a little kid and liked the Jags logo.

Anyway, he's a grown ass man now and he says they have completely failed Lawrence. Their OL has been a shit show and he wants them to go all in on the OL for the first few picks this year.

@ShebPackFan posted:

That's great that they play in Jacksonville next year. I only live 2 hours from Jacksonville!

Unless that's one of their home games in London.

So that's 9 home games next year. Are they gonna make us give one to the damn Europeans' like they did last year? If not that extra home game damn well better go to the green season ticket package.

Probably a double digit loss, but we've already won. We have no answer for Lamb unless 23 can shut him down.  And 11 on defense will be a problem.  House 💰 so it's all good.

If 23 shuts him down, then I'll eat crow and stop talking shit about him.
