Isn’t someone gonna mention “the NFL wants the Cowboys to win”? Or do we wait for a somewhat controversial call (or any old unfavorable call) during the game?

Depends on how many times we see 4 or more refs huddled up.  Always seems to screw the Packers when that happens.

I don't think they have to jump out to a lead (although that would be nice).

If they can keep it a one score game into the 4th quarter, that would be enough to make Dallas get really tight.

Because MLF has a stellar history in high stakes late game situations?

Get a lead early and dictate the game from there.

How many holding penalties will Micah draw on Sunday?

I'm guessing at least 2 and probably 3

8 after this stat is mentioned on Twitter for the 87 thousandth time.

The fast track in Dallas is perfect for our team.  All of that speed and athletic ability Gutey has collected should show out.

100%. I watched highlights from last year at Lambeau, and I think what struck me most was how old ARod looked. The case could be made that the Lambeau turf might slow opposing teams down in all three units. But during the Rodgers era, the Packers always looked forward to that fast track in Dallas. I think unleashing all the young kids with a track meet mentality might be a way to land some heavy blows to the Dallas defense. If they can get Jones going early, all the better. But I also wonder if a bit more qb mobility compared to Rodgers could end up as some slight advantage for the Pack in this one.

Of course, a shootout situation for our defense or ST isn't exactly a comforting thought, either. It'll be interesting how they scheme for this game related to the fast track in big D.

It has crossed my mind and I would bet good money the NFL and the media desperately wants the Cowpies to win.  Because everyone is a Cowboys fan .  ESPN has been visibly aroused with the Cowboys talk and I would stop watching sports coverage if Dallas wins because it will be come even more unbearable.

But, at the same time the NFL would be just as happy if GB wins because we also bring a lot of fans and eyeballs on the TV.

MSN's SB Nation picked games based on DVOA.

These are their end of season rankings.  What they are not considering is maybe, just maybe the Packers are a better team right now than their average performance would suggest.

Unless Joe Barry makes me eat my words.

The NFL wants exciting/competitive games. They don't pick the winners.

Look at the recent CHI/GBP game. Moore's was a catch, Melton's was not. Kept the game close, but the result was inevitable.

NFL wants the Pukes and Niners in the Championship game. And you can set your watch by it!

I'm waiting on @Pikes Peak prediction 😁

The last thing they want is a blowout where folks are turning the channel to watch bowling or cornhole

MM knows who he works for....if the Cowboys lose and he gets fired, that's a travesty because MM has gotten more out of Dak than anyone else ever has. If it wasn't for Lamar going all alien, Dak wins MVP this year.

The Packers are a very good football team but they're really young. Yutes (Youths) make mistakes & some forget situational football.

It's going to be a fun game and I'm hopeful very competitive. Enjoy the game everyone....I'll have a breakdown and keys to the game later.

The 2 best teams today are Baltimore and SF, the best teams usually win, why? Because they are the best teams.

Thats today.  Things change weekly…injuries, flu, weather etc.  Stay tuned.

By the way, is bowling still on?  Bowling With the Champs was must watch tv at our house back in the day.

I have seen bowling on TV from time to time when flipping through the channels.  We always had to watch bowling at my grandparent house and we had to be deathly quiet while watching it.  That and the polka dancing shows they had on GB stations on Sunday mornings.

Usually the best teams win the NFL playoffs but I have this hunch that this year that trend will be broken.  As long  as its not the Browns and Lions because the world will be coming to an end.

As a kid, seeing bowling on tv on sunday was the soul stealing reminder that christmas is over, it's only January and you've got about 5 months to go before you can walk outside in a tshirt again.  The only thing that could bring you back from the brink was the once a year abc wide world of sports special featuring the harlem globetrotters.  Or maybe the world snowmobile championship from eagle river, for about 20 minutes before you got bored and flipped back to bowling.  Because you could only get 3 channels and a documentary on gerald ford was on pbs.

So....McCarthy wants to play the heel.....got it!!

P.S. If you haven't figured it out this is most likely fake news. But it's hilarious

Psst! Aren't we supposed to make up for some call the Packers got against the Cowboys years ago? Yeah, but how many times do we have to make up for it?

It can never be drama free

MM did an interview recently where he expressed regret for talking so glowingly of GB when they were in town last year during the regular season.  I think he caught a lot of flak for it after they lost.  So he just kind of cut his answer off there and said he wanted to focus on his team this week.
