Letβs hope the Rams do their job and keep the pressure on. A Vikingβs βmust winβ is the best scenario we could hope for.

Those who share my hatred on this fan base have been accurate on their assessments previously posted here. For those of us who have lived in the state and were not born there the fact is, and cannot be argued, that not just their fan base, but the overall born and bred population is the most passive aggressive bunch of people I have ever met. This supersedes football. It translates to everyday life. While the city of Minneapolis itself is diverse, I have never seen such a segregated area then Hennepin County, and I was born and have lived in Milwaukee County. If I see another shopping complex with a Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Chipotle, and Cub Foods I might not want to fight another day.
Every god damn day dealing with this crap. After being back for a few years now I remember why I moved and will be moving as soon as possible. I'd take Floriduh crazy over this chicken shit boot licker crap.
Living in NYC, my go to for game day was Kettle Of Fish. It was packed to the gills with Packer fans every game day. During one game vs MIN back in the Farb years, a guy would come in with a Vikes jersey and go absolutely bonkers at every good thing MIN did, literally dancing around and talking trash. This was the only MIN fan in the bar.
Sources: Vikings' Dalvin Cook unlikely to play vs. Packers
According to ESPN, Cook is not expected to play on Monday. His backup, rookie Alexander Mattison, is averaging 4.6 per carry (to Cook's 4.5) but was inactive last week with an ankle. No. 3 RB Mike Boone ran for 2 TDs last week. Cook is great but this might not be end of world.

I was going to say it won't matter much because their #2RB is so good but it looks like he's also hobbled. This game will come down to thirdcousins vs GB pass D and MIN D vs. AR/MLF.

Can we just let Sackus be Sackus? Hell, his trolling and talking football is excellent because he's funny as shit and can actually talk real feetsball. Plus, it may clear out some of the posters trolling their own team.

Cousins is like a little bunny rabbit as soon as he feels the slightest pressure. I hope we're treated with the most awkward QB roll out ever.

If Pettine schemes for Cook, he will have schemed for Boone, too. Both are similar, but Cook is the bigger of the two backs. Boone may be a step faster than Cook, but that should be nothing our Defense cannot handle, if they wrap up the guys they are tackling. Have our refs call holding on the Minnesota O lIne blockers everytime the vikings run the ball, and we will be good. Packers 28 vikings 16. By the end of the 3rd quarter, I predict the Stapler will have more Green and Gold fans in it, than purple fans. GO PACK, GO!!!

I hope the plan is to unleash the Smiths the entire game. Cousins is horrible under pressure, and the key to this game will be whether they counter with a roll-out screen. Without Cook, it won't be as easy.
Especially with their RB's limited, it's going to be thirdcousin and their receivers vs our pass D.

Bullshit. Captain One-Eye fake news.
Chongo posted:Bullshit. Captain One-Eye fake news.
Normally, I might tend to think that way but:
1.) I saw the Queens game where he got hurt. Cook couldn't even stand up straight or move his arm. He also has a separate chest injury that he's not healed from either.
2.) Schefter reported it twice now, his sources are usually spot on, if he says they are shutting him down until the playoffs, that's probably accurate.
3.) See #2. The Vikings know even if they win on MNF, they are not taking the division. The Lie Downs will be more then happy to oblige the Packers and lose that final game in order to secure Chase Young in week #17. They would be idiots not to. So why play Cook in a game that won't win them the division or get them out of the WC seeding and could risk losing Cook for the playoffs. Get Cook as healthy as they can and roll the dice they can make noise when the playoffs start.
Another pretty good source:
From NFL Now: #Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (shoulder) appears unlikely to play this week and his status for Week 17 could hinge on if Minnesota needs to win. One note: RB Alexander Mattison is day-to-day with an ankle injury but is described as hopeful to play. pic.twitter.com/RQpPDtyP4N

Rookie OLB Greg Roberts, who has been on PUP all season after undergoing core muscle surgery in the offseason, practiced for the first time today. The Packers guaranteed $72,000 of his undrafted rookie contract, a rare move by them. https://t.co/CpGOP7547p

Whatβs up with that?
Yeah, I think if the Rams lose this week Cook probably sits. It was reported that Cook was screaming in pain when he went down last week. Not sure if he's a screamer or not.
Who is Greg Roberts?
But if the Rams win....ooooh boy if the Rams win
You will see the sweat on every Viking fan brow and player if the Rams win. Hot breath down their neck. "Here we go again!" "This isn't Detroit man!"
How do you tell if Jimmy G is off to the sides or not?
Boris posted:But if the Rams win....ooooh boy if the Rams win
Yeah, both teams should be playing with their hair on fire if that happens. Well, the Packers should either way.
YATittle posted:Who is Greg Roberts?
He's the guy they liked the most out of the UDFA crop this year. 6-5, 258 lbs.
Gave him $72k guaranteed as an UDFA
If they liked him so much, why not draft him in round 7 instead of Ty Summers?
Maybe a lot of teams liked Ty Summers too -- I don't know.

Musicians are weirdos therefore do not comply with the general standards of a society. Hence, Husker Du, Replacements and others transcends Minnesota passive aggressive.
Saw Bob Mould at 7th Street Entry when he released Workbook. He wasn't exactly gushing about Minnesota. He talked about living in the mountains in Missouri and how he was simply "reared" in Minnesota. That got a laugh from him and the crowd (Bob is gay) and then someone started yelling, "Play Chevy Van!".
Great show.
If the plan is to play loosey-goosey bend but don't break defense and let Cousins get comfortable and if the plan on offense is to run the ball twice, get a holding penalty and chuck it up on 3rd and 17, it's going to be a very long day. Rogers is holding the ball way too long and making bad decisions. The Packers are healthy with a decent running game. If the receivers stop dropping the ball, this could be a great tune-up for the playoffs.
Oh, and Cousins is ripe for a big-game meltdown, but the Packers need to help the process along. He needs to be planted hard a few times early.
Raven Greene back at practice since he got hurt against these purple pansies

The Packers don't get holding penalties against the Queens. Ask anyone in purple undies.
