Is trampled by turtles a mpls band?
Marcy Playground, Semisonic, The Replacements......
Minnesotans love to perform on stage. They're just not too good one on one.
Donβt forget Chainsaw Caine and Slave Raider, as well as the greatest coverband ever, which he put together, Hairball...,,
The only good thing to come out of Minnesota is Bob Dylan and the Coen Bros.

Wow, that's big news. Would be huge to get him back for the playoffs.
Fun read on some of the worst moments for the Queens this decade.
Sullivan has been manning that role very well lately. Greene may be too far behind but he would be good depth if he can round himself back into game shape.
Heard an observation that said Sullivan is who the Packers hoped Josh Jackson would be. That's a pretty fair point. Sullivan was a pretty decent pick up by Gutenheimer.
Which to me takes the sting out of Jackson's non-development.
Love Gutey's willingness to churn the roster and get rid of dead weight. Marginal talents like Janis! and Richard Rodgers were allowed to hang around for far too long.

Nope. Duluth.

I won't even deny, I thought the TD the Vikings had reversed by booth review just before the end of the 1st half in that game was a really touchy call that I would have hated if it was the Packers getting called for the same thing. That said, Cousins was the MVP for the Packers in that game. He was effing terrible that day overthrowing wide open guys and making some terrible decisions that cost the Vikings the game.
The Pack will need to play significantly better in this coming game because I don't expect Cousins to give them the gifts he did in that game. He's been playing much much better football since that time.

I am impressed by Sullivan. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/F2Ob75fPrMEMcCarren on Chandon Sullivan
I'm guessing both RB's are out on Monday. Packers will face their #3 and #4 RB's
#Vikings RBs Dalvin Cook (shoulder) and Alexander Mattison (ankle) on the field, but no helmets at start of practice. Cook stretched with teammates, Mattison doing rehab on the side ... Mike Boone the top RB practicing 3 days before kickoff vs. #Packers.

I think I have to point out Prince as well.
Prince would be in the 10 top musicians from the United States in the last 40 years, not just Minnesota.

Re: the Viking RB's --- Mike Boone will look like Brad Hoover. Forget about the RB's.
None of it will matter because the Niners will beat the Rams & the Vikings will have a LOT less to play for.
From the slot.

A now healthy Kenny Clark, who in turn is resulting in a much better Blake Martinez, begs to differ:
Most teams want to play DIME personnel on 3rd downs & passing situations - not the Pettine's Packers!#Packers want to play dime ALL THE TIME! In order to do that, they must stop the run out of dime!

The craziest thing I ever heard about Prince was that he had mastered 26 different musical instruments. There can't be that many people to have ever lived that could be as proficient as that.
He could have been regarded as one of the greatest musicians ever until he penned the "Purple and Gold" fight song for the Vikings about a decade ago. His legacy is now tainted.
One of my favorite clips of Prince is one where he and M Jackson are on stage at some (undefined?) show. MJ sings and dances a little, he's good. Prince comes on stage and burns it down with a ridiculous guitar solo. His third best talent made MJ look silly that day.

It was 29. And even more amazing, on the demo tape before he was ever signed, the then record executive who liked Prince's sound and voice said something to the effect of "oh, and have him bring his band too" thinking he had this whole entourage of people with him who helped him create his sound.
The Exec was floored when he found out it was ALL Prince. Dude was amazing.

Man, I hope they give Ameer Abdullah about a dozen carries. Could be raining fumbles between him and Cuzz Buzz.

And I once read that besides his music scholarship offer he had a basketball scholarship offer as well.
Mike Boone is no slouch. Probably hot ticket on this weeks fantasy waiver wire

Why in the hell do I have to scroll through posts about Prince in a Vikings Week thread? This is maybe the most important game the Packers have played in the last 3 years. If you want to talk about Prince start a new thread in the lounge. jesus fukk.q
