Me either.  There's some fancy way to delay the radio broadcast but waaaay too technical for me.

I used to do this before they shut down the local Packers AM affiliate here.  You pretty much had to spend the first few minutes of the game finagling the delay properly (seemed to always change a bit) but once you got it it was awesome.

That said I remember back in the day (when Irwin and McGee were announcers) you didn't need any of that because the delays on TV and radio were always the same.  That's how I always watched the games in the 80's and 90's.  TV muted, listen to radio broadcast.

I audio taped the entire Super Bowl on cassette tape back in 1996 on TMJ. Commercials and all. Haven’t listed in probably 15 years. Need a cassette player!

I’m a loser, I know.

Vikings didn't make him a captain either. On to the next team in 2023!

The Bears are considering him for captain. I hear the McCaskey’s are requesting a large fee to do so. I keep you posted.

The Green Bay Packers elevated S Micah Abernathy and WR Juwann Winfree (juh-wann) from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Saturday.

Because I was bored, I went on the Vikings website. According to some of their players and coaches, they plan on testing Quay. I am not sure what that means but they figure that, as a rookie, he is our weak link.

My prediction for Sunday is a Vikings win, let's say about 23-17.

I still think the Packers will win the division, but the Vikings will have some new unscouted looks on offense with the new coaching staff, it's a road game, and it will be the first live game reps for Rodgers with a large percentage of his receiving corps. I'm worried we'll see a repeat of the first game last year when it looked like the Packers hadn't ever played together before.

I think it will take them 2-3 weeks to find their stride.

Plus, Crosby missed camp and who knows what he'll do.

Don't quite understand the logic I'm seeing that the Queens will have a seamless transition to a completely new coaching staff while the Packers will struggle with losing Davante Adams. I see the game as more likely to be a comfortable Packer win than a Queen victory.

31-17 Packers, and it's not as close as the score indicates.

And you think the Packers with a rebuilt OL and that WR group will have a seamless transition?  It would be nice of course. But AR played no pre-season on top of that.

Hi, friends. Long time, no see! I think this new look Packers post Davante will feature a RB centric offense, especially AJ Dillon, to complement our very top end talent rich defensive talent. Seems to me the 2022 Packers will closely resemble recent 49ers teams in overall philosophy. Only that we have maybe the greatest talent to ever play under center on our side. I'm pretty excited to see how this all plays out.

Neither did Kurdt.

Well, not an ideal way to start the day.  Per Tom Pelissaro, no Bakh, no Jenkins, no Lazard.  Yosh starts at LT.

Saw that coming. Packers Questionable List usually means Out. I think a 100% Yosh is better than a 80% Bahktiari, if he's even that. RT is a problem along with the domino affect it has on the OL. It'll have to be the Watkins story with a bunch of RB receptions. Don't know if Rodgers will trust the rookies yet. I think we have to hold them under 21 to win.

Good points .... in addition I think we're going to have to win the turnover battle

I expect that our defense will do well. Push from the inside, cover on the backend and rush from the edges. Our linebackers will cover and tackle on the middle. Special teams will break even. The offense is the question mark this game.

Seems like everyone here is overlooking Cobb.  A healthy Cobb is a tough cover for anyone.  Maybe the Vikings are overlooking him too.

Would not surprise me to see the TEs have a solid, if not spectacular day. Bobby is back. I'm not a huge fan of Deguara, but I have a feeling.....

When you mix Green and Gold you get lime, the color of a fruit with a sour taste akin to what Packers fans will experience after today’s game. In advance of said L, sorry for your loss, friends and foes. Can I get a witness? — Paul “Bearer” Allen p #Skol #Faith

Viking fans can afford to brag and predict big.  If they are right - even for one game - the "I told ya so" chorus will be deafening.  If they are wrong they can state their excuses and disappear until the next match up.  When they know the season is over for them, they disappear for the rest of the season.  (Rinse - repeat the following year).
