MM deserves a portion of the blame for the turnover on the screen pass. Kizer has shown a propensity to turn it over and in that situation you just run out the clock to end the half and regroup.
He's already said as much.
Burks making progress..
#Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) not practicing again today, same as Wednesday. ILB Oren Burks (shoulder) did practice in pads and looked more active than when he participated in last week’s padded practice. Safety Josh Jones (ankle) only player other than Rodgers not practicing.

Kizer looked really good on his first drive until Mack got to him. I'm guessing MM had a script for him to run in the event AR was unavailable again. Hundley did well with the first scripted series also. Like Hundley, Kizer needs better pocket awareness and needs to see the field better beyond his first read.

The OL and specifically Linsley needs to take much of the blame for the Screen. Most of the OL, and defintely Linsley didn't even block for .5 second, they just "ole'd" the DL through, Kizer was a sitting duck. He probably should have ate it, but not totally his fault.
Agree. Linsley looked like a deer leaping out of the way. But Kizer does have to learn how to just get down and live to fight another play. Same on the takeaway by Mack. Geez, you see the guy coming and he's got you dead to rights, get down. Yes, I understand the competitive spirit and never wanting to capitulate, but as a QB you have to be smerter than the average player.
I feel bad for McVince having to put up with Uncle Teddy protecting The Wizard all these years.

Well it's already started. Over is going to be way past 120!
The Vikings will probably bring pressure up the middle. I don’t worry much about their outside rush. Perhaps we should try a “Janis! Sweep” using the speed of MVS. But knowing MM he would try it with Cobb instead and it goes for naught.
Their outside rush could be bolstered if they don't think AR will run out of the pocket. When rushers don't have to worry about containment, and can use both inside & outside lanes they become more difficult to block.

I don't even know this team anymore.
Jedi mind trick on Nagy. Good call.
Stealing old one-eye's booty should be the theme this Sunday.

Excerpt: Not just the second half, but every ****ing game for years it's been like that. They credit Rodgers with being so good at buying time, but that's bull**** because his linemen hold all the damn time. It's easy to buy time and find a receiver that break routes to complete longballs when you can get away with breaking the rules like GB does.
Morons don't even know what holding is....
Because they wish someone would hold them?
Hold me!!
This is a rare week, even by viking fan standards. I don't know how many times I heard on KFAN today that people fear for Rodgers well being in this game, because he's going to be so battered that his season will definitely be over, and possibly his career....

Judging by your avatar, you're in love with yourself?

Trae Waynes knows what holding is, but he might not play on Sunday. Has the rube chat guy ever looked at the what the viking O line's hands are doing during a play? I say they should blow that horn every time a viking holds someone. They might have enough material for a song.
I know I’m being selfish, but damn I want this game bad.
Overconfidence is off the charts here in the Twin Cities. PA's show is something else. They see no possible way the Packers can win this game.
not the first time we have been underdogs. kind of like it.

The whole "Rodgers may not play" bit is horse****. It's more "let's not show them how mobile he is/isn't".

McVince, "Yeah! What he said!"
#Packers coach Mike McCarthy on QB1: "Aaron is getting better. He was in the meetings this morning. I would say he feels better than the beginning of the week."
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) September 14, 2018
lol and clear as mudd...
McCarthy asked if Aaron Rodgers' injury is going to affect him long term, or if he'll be healthy sooner: "I'm hopeful that in time -- whatever that time frame is -- it can clear up." Not real sure what to make of that, either way.
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) September 14, 2018
McCarthy says #Packers rookie ILB Oren Burks came out of Thursday's padded practice "OK" and wants to see him in tomorrow's walkthrough. Same with WR Davante Adams.

Oh I love it when the Packers are being underestimated by everyone and are in the underdog role. The media and all of the Spermhead fans I have heard and read believe that their team is the best team to ever take the field and the Packers should probably just save us the misery and just forfeit.
Do i think the Packers will win? No sadly I don't but how sweet would it be if a one legged QB on a team barely adequate to take the field against that team and beats them?
Damn I hate the Spermheads and their horn blowing, heidi braids wearing, lutefisk eating, schmidt beer drinking, and obnoxios rubes. I could keep going but I don't want to cuss to much.
It's a division game in Lambeau.
In my mind a must win if they have any designs on winning the division.

You could keep going but the internets would run out of paper and ink!
I won't be heartbroken if they lose or if they lose the division. Both sides of the ball, more so the D, won't be hitting their stride until Nov. That combined with the small margain for error and the toughest schedule in the league and all I really hope for is to get hot in time to qualify as a WC and it's all gravy from there.
I'm predicting right here that at a key point in the game Josh Jackson will have a vital pick.
i just watched the queen game blech. the 49er wr were really timid - i expect our veterans will be different, also watch for 89 and 80. 49ers had virtually nothing from the te's - little from rb's too...so your sayin there's a chance.
I'm predicting that a certain someone brings up T J Watt
