Be a man and tell us.

I work at an all encompass ag supply firm.  I blend and also bag fertilizer that goes on farm fields and lawns and such. I also help in the feed mill that feeds the animals and milk cows that let you stuff your face.  I don't get rich but I like what I do and have a great boss/owner.  It is a painful business right now with commodity prices at  10 year lows, but the farmers and those of us in the ag business will survive and move forward. We always do, just like TT and Packers.

brainded - I have not watched the ALL-22 from each PS snap for Sitton, Taylor, or Barclay to tell you if the drop off will be noticeable. T

Here is a free tip, the offensive line is that collection of guys that line up at the line of scrimmage.   They typically can be seen during a normal broadcast until the QB releases the football, their job is basically done at that point, or the RB breaks into the secondary, job basically done at that point.

Save your money, you don't need to watch the all 22 to see how members of the o-line performed.

In the past six months, the Bears have committed $87M to the ILB and G position, spots seen as less and less essential in today's NFL. Not that popular thinking is always correct - and I do think all four are good players -, but it sure looks like the Bears and old-school Fox are building a team to run and stop the run in a passing league.

Progressive teams have been upping the ante on Guards in recent years to counter the proliferation of A-gap blitz packages and moving speed rushers inside designed to take advantage of cheap, disposable guards.

Sitton going to the Bears makes me wonder. He signs a nice deal with a losing team in the Packers division. About money and/or revenge....obviously not about winning. Count me as relieved it was the Bears, would've been just a little worried if it was to the Seahags,  Carolina, etc....

I'm glad he found what he wanted. But he's an OG. I don't know what type of impactful revenge he was going to have on the Packers wherever he signed.

Jimmy Johnson once said he wasn't going to be a hypocrite and claim that he'd treat a reserve or fringe starter the same as Aikman, Smith or Irvin. Sittons comments about the play calling was a love tap compared to some of the things Rodgers and Farve have said about it. But there's a difference. They weren't 30 something interior OL's with back and toe problems.

I'm ok with it after that non-explanation explanation. Unless/until pressure up the middle in Rodgers face scuttles drives.

My final thought on this is TT royally ****ed up by not getting anything in a trade for Sitton. You can't tell me NONE of the 31 other teams wouldn't have offered him SOMETHING! Especially a team like the Colts or Seahawks. Playing those 2 against each other I KNOW you can get something for him.

It ****ing irresponsible & I'm not happy about it. The end.

And time will eventually judge whether it was an idot move by TT or not.  This isn't the first time he's made (what appears to be) a head scratching move and in the end it usually turns out OK.

I've got to trust it was the right move.  That's why he does what e does.  Makes for some fun speculation and banter but hey - things could be worse (see every other team in the division).

Maybe Ted thinks he got 8 great years, 3 pro bowls, three second team all pro's and a Lombardi out of a 4th round pick and felt that a decent enough haul. Cut him loose and let Josh pick his landing spot. Not the first time Ted's gone this route.

Personally I think Ted respects guys like Josh too much to dump him in a place like New Orleans for a 6th round pick. I also think the players in GB notice and respect a GM that allows a guy like Josh to land somewhere on his terms.

Of course. This is once again my brand of wild ass speculation.

Anyone else notice MM's non-answer on Sitton included some comments about the locker room?

Here's the quote: "Each player is evaluated, every person that touches the locker room is evaluated because the locker room is the most important room in our building".

Probably just MM babbling but I found it interesting when I watched it live.

That's still a chunk of change on the interior.  Fox is basically loading the middle on both sides and overlooking the aerial concerns.  Fox is no slouch so it'll be interesting to see the competing philosophies.

Da Bares know they have VaJayJay only for so long.  You have a narrow window to win, usually the first quarter before VaJayJay throws a pick 6.

Wonder if the Bears made him pass a physical? If he's healthy, this improves the Bears and weakens the Packers this year.

I agree with Boris, if you were going to make this move, get something for him. The Bears are paying him 1 million more this year (and guaranteeing him 4 million more) than if they'd have just traded a 6th rounder for him. If he was going to get this kind of contract, you'd have though you could get something for him.

If there is anything to the locker room stuff it will come out sooner rather than later. Hope it wasn't an Incognito type of event.

Good to see TT was confident in Lane Taylor at his press conference today.

Both Taylor & Barclay were re-signed this last offseason, so they must have some level of confidence.

Of course, there is this: "Iā€™m confident in those young men," Thompson said. "They played well last year." On M.D. Jennings and Jerron McMillian prior to '13 season."  https://twitter.com/PackersNotes

Same guy that drafted Datone, Lacy, Bakhtiari, Tretter, and Micah in 2013.

Its hard to go to the playoffs 7 straight years. It's harder to win another SB.
