Things are obviously trending up, and I think if I rip MLF when they're down then I give  him props that things have turned around. That team was ready to play Thanksgiving, and I give MLF the credit.

I do think it's the coach's responsibility to have their team ready week to week. However you decide to motivate in on you, but the good coaches find different ways to do it and have their team prepared. When the message gets old (MM, etc.) then it's time to leave for a scenery change.

Not to get off topic, but a coach like Tomlin would be a good discussion. He's found a way to keep that squad relevant over nearly 20 years, but they haven't really be a championship contender for a decade now.

My issue is why can this team play like gangbusters 1 week ( last year at home against the queens and this year at T giving) and then play like they were dragged off the street and told to suit up an hour before the game the next week.

Every teams fans think the same thing about their team. Cowboys fans against Arizon and San Fran, Eagles fans against Cowboys and San fran, Bears fans against anybody they play, fire the head coach, fire the DC, fire the special teams coach, fire the offensive coordinators. Football fans make David Tepper look patient.

Another masterpiece from MLF on Sunday night and we're finally getting a good look at his offense with Love under center.

Gotta hand it to MLF. He's had this team ready to play since the loss to the Vikings. It didn't always show on the scoreboard and they were a bit inconsistent, but for the past five games he has been on point in preparation. The past two games, MLF has been masterful with his calls as well and it appears he has loosened the reins for Love to change plays at the LOS. We fans are impatient -- and I think he definitely made some missteps at the start of the year -- but we are seeing the motion, etc., that we did not see with AR. There are so many variations with the motion that sometimes it's difficult to know who is going to get the ball on any given play.

Offense is vastly improved but we're not top tier.   Given how young they are and how shitty the OL is, there is potential for top tier.

The defense, what we've seen is fools gold.    The Chargers, Lions, and Chiefs all moved the ball at will.   Some timely turnovers combined with timely sacks is what saved their ass.    I don't see the turnovers continuing but the sacks should.

Would you like to share a foxhole together?

Pretty accurate but one may argue offense has been "top tier" in the last three games.

In the last three games:

Offense- 9th in scoring and 5th in total yards

Defense - 14th in points allowed and 29th in yards

Turnover differential - 2nd

MLF gave Joe Bury a big hug after the Chiefs win....and they did well keeping the Chiefs offense out of the end zone.... however.....it's a what have you done for me lately business. I still think the DC is a problem......which makes it a problem for MLF too.

Instead of the bend but don't break style which ultimately wears out the defensive players (79 plays a game?!? RUF'ing kidding me?!??) How about we get a few 3 & outs letting the defense rest for a change.

That's now the challenge for the DC and ultimately MLF. They're tied together now....and if you're not improving you need to find a new job.

MLF and Love have us in a position to win the remaining games on the schedule. That would put us at 11-6. Not too shabby for a team that some here said may only win two games, this season. Our schedule is very similar to the schedule the vikings faced last year, when they went 13-4. Yes, the vikings went one and done, in the play offs, but that's because they suck. Yes, the Barry defense needs tweaking and so does our OL, every week, but this team is starting to click on offense and I am going to enjoy the ride.  One game at a time. One play at a time. Get everyone healthy and it's all gas, no brakes!  GO PACK, GO!!!

What would be sweeter than clinching a playoff spot, knocking Suckqueens out of the playoffs and beating them at home all at once.   JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The WK18 game vs CHI could be the toughest left on the schedule.  Who knows which GB team we will see the last 4 weeks.

If the last 4 weeks are like the first 14 then I think they miss the playoffs by a game or by tiebreakers.

I think MLF may be gaining the respect of the locker room. He doesn't have to tiptoe around AR any more, and in the Giants game he actively yelled at Taylor on the sidelines for the stupid move to not get OOB. I can't recall a time when MLF has actually gotten after a player during a game, but that was the right time to do so. Where he loses status is in accepting the poor game calls by He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. Getting after a player for making a huge mistake yet allowing an assistant coach to continue in producing mediocrity will undercut a player's respect for a coach faster than anything else.
