Antiworst, please tell this dude how many ints Rodgers will throw, and how often Lacy will break his leg as he is fumbling the ball.

6 and twice. Lacy is one tough SOB.

Oh my Darlings!  Where is your faith?  We have Aaron, Jordy, Clay, Eddie and Randall....they have Tom Brady who needs to go be with his supermodel wife who is busy taking care of the kids..  Come on boys! Let's buckle up. The Pack can do this!!

I believe Belicheat will have the better game plan and the Packers will struggle on both sides of the ball. However even if Jordy and Cobb are minimized on the edges it will free up Lacy for screens and our trio of TEs (Perillo's 1st TD!) will pick up the slack around the hash marks. Turnovers can be deadly but Rodgers protects the ball. If D can have a respectable showing in run game, get pressure on Brady w/out blitz and keep Gronk to a few catches Pack will win it late.

Agreed.  Be patient with the running game.  Keep the clock moving.  Limit Brady's opportunities to get the ball back.  Hopefully, we can do that.

Heck, with all the hype about the offenses, this game might just come down to a Crosby Field Goals winning it.

I see a close game at first with NE pulling ahead at the end. We have no match for their run game and Gronk. AR throws his first interception at home (a forced ball due to blanket coverage)and NE scores and we cant get back in the game. Eddie runs into the back of our OL because of the NE beef. MM makes a bonehead decision and we pay for it.

I see our "Special" teams riding home on the "short bus". Crosby misses a FG and NE make all theirs.

I am already looking ahead to the next games because we will be toasted in this one. However, many fans will stay until the end of the game and many of them too drunk to drive.

Way to cover all the options. You left out where GB might somehow grease this one out but all in all a pretty wide ranging pinpoint job.

I believe Rodgers and Brady facing off in this game will cause a splintering in the fabric of space and time, resulting in the creation of multiple parallel universes, each having different outcomes of the game.  My hope is that I am in the timeline in which the Packers win.  It should also be noted that in each of these alternate realities, the Vikings suck.

Patriots Have Owned the NFC North

Our friends over at OddsShark.com looked back and found that the New England Patriots have won their last 13 games against NFC North teams. The last time they lost? It was to the Green Bay Packers and then-quarterback Brett Favre.

When it gets down to it, I have more faith in the Patriot defense against the Packer offense than I do the Packer defense against the Patriot offense.

If GB can win the turnover battle that might be enough to make up the difference.

Good thing we don't have that problem.

Pretty much

They don't bleed rush yards like we do.

I hope MM has opened up the playbook a bit more on offense this week. Feels like a game where we'll need Rodgers to have one of those "receptions to 9 different receivers" etc

Lacy needs to have a big day running it AND getting chunks of yards from dumpoffs, screens.

Demovsky has the Pats winning 41-24. Packers have struggled mightily against the better QBs for years and don't see that changing in this game. In terms of perception it's a huge game; as far as the playoff race not so much. I just hope they play well regardless of the outcome.

This is the kind of game you sign a veteran impact player for. I think Peppers will take over this game. On the flip side I think it's going to be tough to beat Darrelle Revis.

Packers 31
Patriots 28

- I like their rushing defense better than GB's.

- Revis has the ability to cover up the #1 receiver.  The last time we played a team (Seattle) that had a "shut down" CB Arod didn't even bother to throw to that side of the field, which limited the offense.

- GB has nobody to cover Gronkowski down the middle of the field.

Crazy stat. GB gives up 60 rushing yards less per game at home than they do on the road. 167 on the road vs 105 per game at home. Revis is good but this offense isn't the one that faced Seattle. GB had a kid at WR and a kid at C starting on the road in Seattle. Gronk is a matchup nightmare for everyone.

Davante and Quarless are important today and Lacy in the screen game.

This is is going to be a fun game.

Belichick vs. Dom Capers basically.

Moving Clay inside seems like the kind of move Belichick would have made. It was innovative, and very effective. I think that was more McCarthy's doing than Capers, but of course I don't know that.

If thats what it comes down to...   yup

The lack of appreciation for McCarthy in much of Packer world is simply astounding.
