Never have to circle the wagons if the team isn't a complete trainwreck without AR.

That is on MM and TT.

Again, we are praising them for not being the worst team in the NFL when AR (and others) are out. I expected more from the team.

We all have a different view of it. No problem with that.

Does the last half of the season include amother home field playoff loss.....that's what I remember.

Unfortunately, yes, it does.

Great point.

I often fail to give MM proper credit for that, but it doesn't mean AR would not still have been a great QB under different coaching.

If he gets credit for "developing" Rodgers then he also gets credit for the other qb's he has coached while he has been here.

You're comparing a guy that many thought would be the first pick of the draft to these guys?

Brohm -- 2nd round pick, cut, kept Flynn

Martin -- Furman punter, 5th round.  Lasted a year behind Favre and Rodgers.

Flynn -- 7th round pick, current #2 on roster.  I'm not saying he's good, but he's got wins, records, money, and chicks on his resume.

Tolzein -- UDFA, Packers are his 3rd team.  Shows some things.

So, McCarthy deserves as much blame for these guys not doing well as he deserves credit for helping develop Rodgers, who spent 3 years in the system backing up a hall of famer?

OK, guy.

Add in Rich Gannon in his prime, Aaron Brooks run in New Orleans.  MM is a fantastic QB coach and has grown immensely in his time as HC with the Packers.

I'm only comparing them in regards to development while attending MM's QB school.  Its not like everything he touches turns into gold. Flynn has made the most of his talent under MM, the other two, not so much.

Obviously Rodgers talent is on a different planet, that's the point.

MM makes a bonehead decision and we pay for it.

I see our "Special" teams riding home on the "short bus". Crosby misses a FG and NE make all theirs.

I am already looking ahead to the next games because we will be toasted in this one. However, many fans will stay until the end of the game and many of them too drunk to drive.

Called it.

The Crosby miss that is.

Same type of win like they got last year without Rodgers. Stuck together, battled and gutted out a not so pretty win. Intangibles that can't be measured on a football field, but CAN be instilled by a good head coach and organization. And who could have guessed the weakest link on the team could get the stop when they needed it most. Great win.
