Yeah, that's as hyperbolic as saying TT and MM are idiots who only succeed because AR dropped into their laps and any moron could succeed with him.  It wasn't spectacular, but those last few weeks when they rallied after their abysmal November were about as gutsy and gritty as it gets, exemplified by that win in Dallass.

How you holding up today?

You wearing two jerseys?  Which one is on top?

Nice word choice.  You're right.  No one 'is' saying that, but plenty were, my intensely conflicted friend.

I also predict that I will do whatever it takes to make this miserable hangover go away before the game starts.  Oy.  The worst thing you can hear when you feel like this is when your wife tells you she's going out for a couple of hours and that you'll be alone with your toddler.

Ouch. Good luck.

My stance was and is that great QBs make good coaches and GMs look great.

Not idiots or bad coaches.

I also think Packers fans as a whole UNDER value Aaron Rodgers by over rating the rest of the team and coaches and even TT, and will only realize it when he is gone.

The Packers and MM started 4 different QBs in a 7 week stretch, some of whom were brand new to the team and had never even had a single offseason to work on the offense. Or a Training Camp. Wallace was signed in September and played in November

What the Packers and MM accomplished without Rodgers last season is nothing short of spectacular and anybody who says different can go **** themselves with a big wet pole

This is getting mounted over the fireplace.

I wouldn't be comfortable having a coach who lost 2 Super Bowls in a row, despite having the superior team and superior QB on both occasions. But that's just me

True, but keep in mind that there's no more a miserable **** than this freakin guy.  Context.

If PDX means Portland, maybe he and CAPackFan95 should get together and watch a game.

... sweet!...send him over!..and if you can figure out what PDX stands for you can drop in too...  if you need any clues, drop me a PM....  kthanksbye

Great point.

I often fail to give MM proper credit for that, but it doesn't mean AR would not still have been a great QB under different coaching.

If that is your criteria, you'd rather have a coach who's team regularly gets bounced from the playoffs at home despite having the superior team and superior QB on each occasion?

C'mon Man!

I'm used to narcissists online. Can't stomach a guy who brags his wife will give him head if he gets to a certain number of Twitter followers.

That's almost as bad as going on x4 and posting about banging your wife during a Packer game.

Some a-holes brag about getting it in the garage after drinking lite beer.

Makes me sick.

QBs go down in the NFL every week. Teams survive.

A team witha great coach and offensive genius with Eddie Lacy and Jordy Nelson should not be happy with 2-4-1. And I'd bet no person in the Packer organization considers that 2-4-1 stretch to be spectacular.

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree on this. When Rodgers went down, in particular in the two losses that followed to Philly and NYG, everybody and their brother left the Packers for dead.

The following week they fought back from bein down 10 in the 4th qtr to go to ot and scrape out a tie....a tie which would hold considerable weight down the stretch.

After a big letdown against Detroit on Turkey day, they come back the following week and shut out the Falcons in the second half to erase an 11 point deficit and get a huge win.

We shouldn't need to talk about the Dallas game, except to say that if one doesn't see that comeback on the road as spectacular, then idk what you really expected from that team.

A week later, they gave the Steelers all they could handle but couldn't pull out a victory in the end.

The Eagles/Giants games....I'd offer that the team/coaching staff had to get their feet under them, and they responded in the following weeks. None of it was pretty. But the way they gutted out games when they could easily have packed it in and no one would have blamed them....is spectacular.

It was a great coaching job by McCarthy and his staff. It was a great indication that the locker room circled the wagons to get it done, and I applaud the entire organization for the job they did. They scratched and clawed their way to wins and even the tie in spite of the fact that most people had given up on them in weeks prior.

Imo, watching that team do what it did during that stretch is what will make the memory of 2013 season special. It's also a testament to MM and his guys that the players stood in there and battled when things looked the bleakest.

Most need only a 30 second time out for that.....

Disagree. I for one was disappointed and expected better from the team. I didn't leave them for dead. Sports writers were even saying the team could go .500 over the stretch AR was out.

If you want to be impressed by the spectacular 2-4-1 display, that is your right. I was disappointed and expected more from the team. Especially when I keep hearing about how great MM and TT are.

Coming back from being down 10 vs Minny for the tie was required because the team played terrible and let the Vikes get a 10 point lead. Same with your other examples.

The team isn't supposed to be that bad without AR, is it?
