Hawk's time is a little skewed.....he actually got to start his 40 yard dash 7 yards downfield...since that is where he is used to making tackles.

It really is amazing he was able to put up a time that good. I'll say this, he was a heck of a good college player. He's just never really looked like the same guy since he got to Green Bay. I thought he was pretty good during the start of his career here, but in the last 2 or 3 years his lack of overall athleticism shows up more and more as time goes on.
Hawk peaked at 23.

Hawk was a much better college player than T'eo. A lot better.
Hawk spent too much time in the weight room right out of college and become too muscle bound. That slowed everything down. He stopped hitting the weights so hard and had progressively better years. Unfortunately, he was getting a older and that didn't help him any. Solid ILB, but not what you would expect out of his draft position.
I was at Hawk's first training camp and I came away surprised at how unathletic he looked. He seemed so much faster and more explosive at Ohio State.
