Yes it's time.....Don't make me call out names....you know who you are. Time to start posting & not hiding under a rock just because a miracle win happened

All is well.
No it is not well.
I swear Boris. The game thread and the "dagger" talk after the field goal to me make it 23-14 with plenty of time left sealed it for me. Embarrassingly bad posting.
The chatroom and game threads have devolved into pure chickensh*t.
I watched to the end, and was pissed a lot along the way, but damn this team didn't quit and with 4/5 of their starting OL on the sideline.
Bloody Mary's flowing well tonight.
I think everyone is still in shock
The sky is falling, the sky is falling.

I think you should craft a sternly worded Letter to The Editor, detailing how you think you are the bestest fan, and how the rest of the fans should follow your lead.
I'll expect that on my desk by 8AM
I posted two things on FB to all my negative friends when we were down 20-0: 1) Keep the Faith 2) Remember: they're the LIONS!!!
all I can say is I hope this is a catalyst, hope it gets there BFI up.
if this doesn't, idk what will.
still think people are fully justified in being disgusted with the performance/effort of this team.
Prior to the game I said this:
NumberThree posted:I have yet to scream the world is ending and chalk up this season to a 6-0 start with no playoffs. Here' why.
They started 6-0, great. Then they lost 4 of 5, terrible.
In 2 of the 4 losses they were in it until the very end and were in position to (and should have) won the game in regulation in the last minute but simply didn't. Crosby shanked a field goal to beat the Lions and the Packers suffered two dropped balls in the end zone against the Bears when it was 1st and goal from the 8 yard line. Don't forget that 28 points were taken off the board against the Bear (14 from phantom penalties and 14 from dropped balls).
They could have potentially forced OT with the Panthers, but couldn't come through in the last minute.
The Broncos? They're just good, no way around that loss @Denver.
So what's going to be the determining factor tonight? The dome.
There's no excuse this week. There's no rain, no wind, no snow, no "bad field," no slippery conditions, no ANYTHING that can be hinted as an excuse as to why the offense can't get on the same page. It's put up or shutup time now.
AR for 300+ yards and 2 TDs, Lacy for 100 yards, and the defense with 2 TOs. If this team can't do this in a dome, it's just not going to happen this year.
In the 4th quarter I said this:
NumberThree posted:Like I said, the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter is too little, too late. See Carolina. See Lion. See Bears. See Lions 2.
I have no shame in eating crow on that. The miracle happened, and now we get a 10-day "bye" to turn the last 5 minutes of those games into the full 60 minutes going forward.
Go Pack Go.
It was a scary game but Aaron pulled it off. I think I hurt my arm and broke the couch from hitting it so hard. But we got to get it together - too many injuries, too many penalties. I hope this is a catalyst!

No dude. No. It sucked and so do you.
I always watch.....hoping.
Many watch waiting to complain......
I want Mike McCarthy to prove me wrong, badly. Do a Tom Coughlin act. I'd never doubt him again.
I hope this is a spark for the team that gets them kicking it into another gear but I thought the nice win over the Vikings was going to do that. I still don't like what I see from this offense at all and nothing seems to be improving....but the win keeps them squarely in control of their own fate for the division

They don't wait.....
I am one of those eeyores and that is not going to change, but I am Packer fan and thrilled with the win. I will eat crow gladly as long they win, any which way.
PackMan I wish sometimes when it is 4th and 1 or 4th and inches McCarthy would go for it. For me frustrating......

Imagine if Brandon Bostick was still a Packers TE, and he was in position to catch that Hail Mary. That might not have ended well.

Probably watching on his phone, better view.
Guilty. I left when the Lions converted the 3rd and long with 3 minutes left.
What got into RichRod tonight? Even before the Hail Mary he was the best offensive player on the field.
Bakhtiari has struggled mightily this year, but one play with Josh Walker at LT and my love for Bak knows no limits. I don't know how they got him back in again and I'm probably not alone in hoping he doesn't get called for a random drug test tomorrow, but this feels pretty damned awesome.

So you won't be detailing your rules for being a fan?
Sorry. No. And sorry about the "you suck." You don't suck.
Just talking about readable game threads and chat rooms. They're no fun any more.
People need to think about what they're adding to the discussions. If it is pure chckensh*t, then reconsider hitting "post." Is my only point.

Nothing more needs to be said. Great hair and common sense.
Gebins.
People being emotional and all over the map during a sporting event - which is nothing but a release from the stupidity and mindless and the horrible of work or the world or whatever? World's greatest monsters! Why can't everyone react the way you do?
You think people being emotional and reacting good/bad in real time to good/bad is chickens*it. Whatever. I think people that think they are the arbiters of how fans should or shouldn't act and continually tell everyone else how others should or should act is chickens*it. Whatever.
*shrugs*
So here we are.
Pos: DikRod with 170 yards receiving.....
Neg: DikRod with 6 YAC.
Had them losing after the final third down conversion. Not quite sure where that Richard Rodgers has been hiding. Even before the Hail Mary he was doing some really nice things in the passing game that I didn't think he had in him.
Is this the plus and minus thread? Just wonderin'
Might as well be....everyone is still in shock
Hi, it's me, coming out from under my rock. and it couldn't have happened to a better team. I can't stand the Lions.
Okay then.
Pluses: Lions be Lions, the Sun shined a bit, the D, and an unbelievable effort from RR.
Minuses: WRs. Again.
Never quit. Wow I'm still in shock.
Rodgers first ever completed Hail Mary.
Does this count as a 4th quarter comeback??
Not according to Skip Bayless.
...this just in...hard core packer fans live and die on each play. This post should be titled "sunshine police doesn't like their safe space invaded on a live game day packer forum". I am not a negative Nellie, but feel the need to defend all nellies. I for one don't mind people venting during game day... I get it, and prefer having a bigger perspective of life outside a game.

So here we are.
"Continually" wtf.
The THREAD is, it adds NO ENTERTAINMENT VALUE to the reader WHATSOEVER to say the game is "over" with 7 minutes left. Especially when it is wrong.
Just letting people know that it is no fun to read that kind of crap. And understand: it is absolute crap.
That is where we are.

Lots to work on, still
Time to get Q and Monty back on the field. Get the OL healed up.

Nobody is feeling like an invasion of space has happened.
My point to this thread is EVERY SINGLE poster who has nothing to say EXCEPT negative $hit has disappeared.
You can "defend" the Nellies all you want. I also encourage venting, however, the disappearing when your "predictions" or "statements" go dramatically wrong is complete garbage.
Many people are here win, lose or draw....it's the cockroaches that I've called out after tonight because they EARNED it.
