I think you could get both Adams & Mack for the price of Hendrickson .... and not have to give up any draft choices. I wouldn't call them Jags ....they would each be the best player at their position group next season for us.

I'm not suggesting the trade for him, or trade for and sign him to an extension. Was just estimating what the trade cost might be.

Cap space and his contract won't be the issue. It's much more about what the Bengals would want in terms of draft capital:
The Packers can create another $74.3M of cap space via restructures - they can sign anybody they want. https://t.co/5ICJBmt7UZ

Ship this year's no. 1 for Hendrickson or save it and draft another OL who plays sparingly? I vote Hendrickson.

Most any team can do this but there is a reason that most don't. Restructuring too many contracts can result in cap issues down the road. I don't know enough about it to weigh in on the Packers specific situation, but it is a factor that has to be taken into account.

GB does not have cap issues or cap worries when it comes to signing Henderickson, and they don't need to restructure a bunch of contracts to do so and "kick the can" down the road. They can easily sign him. Again, it's much more about what the Bengals would ask. That they would ship him to an NFC team is probably more appealing that would also get Trey out of the conference.
Worthing noting as well..
This tweet isn't about McManus' salary - it's about just how few big contracts the Packers have on the books at the moment where a $5.1M/yr kicker is #9. When Jaire leaves it will #8...ðĪŊ

Packers will surely add some big contracts in FA, but this team is still so young & cheap! https://t.co/SKI8wp3mSv
If they are gonna kick the can, at least they have a guy who can do it accurately.

Yep. And sign Joey Bosa. The defense becomes a big time defense.
Unless they make the SB, both Gute and MLF need to be done, period.
The Eagles won the SB in 2018, then fired that coach a few seasons later, hand-wringing who will you hire. Hire a new guy, win another SB in 2025.
Didn't the signing of a big name player like Julius Peppers help the Packers win the Super Bowl?
So Seattle is just punting on their team?? https://t.co/SkaNPhYcDq

Hearing the Seahawks are interested in signing Darnold. That would leave the Vikings with JJ McCarthy and (maybe) Daniel Jones (if he signs there). I wonder if there would be a veteran QB available that's looking for a 1 year deal to mentor McCarthy??
Queens take a step back this season.
Only 1?
Yup I see it all clearly now!

Tyler Lockett's phone better be on.
I'm sure it's on, but I'm guessing he won't get many calls until after the draft. He's 5'10", 180# soaking wet and 32. I could have maybe seen the Patriots just grabbing an experienced veteran, but they have a few small, young guys already in Douglas and Boutte.
I think the Chiefs were already in the market for wide receivers. That may just kick up a notch now
They have a strong history of drafting or bringing in questionable, dipshits

The sheer irony if this occurs...
With Geno Smith headed to the #Raiders, the fallout is dramatic:

God that would be incredible if Rodgers went to Minnesoduh.
Wow, that's a bold burn from a press guy. Must have some axes.
I thought so too. Grinding more than teeth, it seems. Hope he doesn't run into a Bosa

Some people(i.e. Daniel Jeremiah) are saying the vikings could see Kirk Cousins as their QB, next season.

Another day until the "Legal Tampering" session. Or in other terms "The time period when outrageous and complicated contracts get worked out in minutes!"
Local sports media reported that Kirk requested and was granted a meeting with Arthur Blank. The purpose was to clear the air regarding his future in Atlanta (or elsewhere?).
The only comment by the Falcons was they "will do what's best for the team".
No comments from Cousins that I'm aware of.
However, Cousins has a $10M roster bonus due 03/17.

So Garrett has stated his ultimate goal was to win a Super Bowl, not be in Canton. Sure looks to me like he picked the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ over a Super Bowl because Cleveland will never win one with the cap $$$$$ he will take up.
NFL contracts are taking up the absurdity that was reserved for the NBA and MLB.
It's always about the money. Of course shitty teams like Cleveland dole out these contracts and screws up the rest of the teams trying to be financially responsible
