Thank you!

If Packerlover looks like her avatar.....we'll just call her "Blair Kiel Lover"

If Packerlover is a guy.......meet my friend beef.

The Falcons are starting to be the vikings of the south - they keep making all the wrong decisions in personnel. Jackson is done being a solid RB and they just wasted 2 years and multi-millions instead of drafting a young ascending one. dum dum dum

Of course they didn't have the draft picks to do it after the Julio trade. dum dum dum

from PFT:

The worst fears were realized for Colts guard Donald Thomas.

A league source tells PFT that he indeed tore his quadriceps in practice yesterday, and will need surgery.

The same injury cost Thomas the last 14 games of last season. The Colts signed him to a four-year, $14 million deal last offseason.

He’s out indefinitely now, and most likely for the entire season.

Civility. Hate the name-calling. I try to use big words and not just the four-letter ones! If we believe the GBP are classy, why should fans be different -- with some exceptions toward some X4 posters, of course.

sheesh, it just don't end....

from pft:

Brent Urban’s rookie season is over before it started.

Urban, a defensive lineman chosen by the Ravens in the fourth round of the NFL draft, suffered a torn ACL in practice yesterday. Coach John Harbaugh confirmed the diagnosis today.

The Ravens hoped the 6-foot-7, 295-pound Urban would be able to join their defensive line rotation as a rookie, but now he’ll go on injured reserve.

Just think how far arthroscopic surgery has advanced because of NFL ACLs

They've done as much for that discipline as motorcycles have for organ transplant surgery

RB David Wilson of Giants may not return -- ever. Had a couple vertebrae in his neck fused after herniating one and finding he had spinal stenosis. In non-contact practice he had a "burner" and now may not play again.

Finley, are you listening??

Back from injury, but apparently struggling. Some mocks had us taking him in the 1st:

Jets tight end Jace Amaro is back at practice after missing a little time with a knee injury, but feeling better physically is only part of the battle for the second-round pick.

The more significant part is trying to adjust from Texas Tech’s wide-open offense to the one that offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg is running with the Jets, a task that Amaro likens to going from Chinese to English. Amaro spent Wednesday getting razzed after dropping a pass and getting chewed out by Mornhinweg for running incorrect routes before ending the day with a one-on-one chat with General Manager John Idzik.

“A lot of people have high expectations for me. Right now, I’m trying to figure it all out,” Amaro said, via ESPN.com. “I have high expectations for myself, I know what I can do. I’m making a lot of things a lot more difficult than they should be, just because I’m not completely comfortable with the entire organization yet, from the playbook to not knowing how the coaches coach, little things like that.”

There’s still more than a month to go before the start of the regular season, but the current rate of Amaro’s transition to the NFL suggests that the Jets will have to scale back some of their early plans for him heading into his rookie year.

Why do you hate Cobb, Lacy, and Lang?    (Bush and Hawk I can understand.)

Fandame loves Bu.. OOHHH!! You meant Jarrett.

Re: Amaro

Just another dumb pick by the Jets. Trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Amaro would probably be better off with the Dolphins

Boris, Boris, Boris. You know me too well.

Back to Amaro. If the Amaro runs the wrong routes to the point that the OC has to chew him out in practice after having time off for a knee, then he probably spent more time playing video games than studying while off the field. Sounds like he won't be helping the team much this year...

But the Falcons have Hard Knocks to look forward to.  They don't need no stinking injuries.

HK is almost as bad as the SI jinx.

Lots of "experts" predicting ATL to bounce back this year.  I think they might be one of the worst teams in the league again.   Where's the D and the quality depth on that team is a joke
The Falcons are still suffering from "One player away" syndrome. They think they are always 1 player away from a SB so they make short term moves to fill that need when in reality they have deficiencies across the board. SBs are own and lost by your QB play and your defense. Matt Ryan, despite his salary, will never put them over the top and their defense is consistently mediocre when it counts. They can mortgage the future on all the top 10 WRs and RBs they want, but until the fix those problems then they will never win.
49ers are feeling some of the Packers pain from recent years. Their depth wasn't great anyway and now they're down to relying on very young or inexperienced players in starting roles. How they respond will say a lot about how good that team actually is and how good of a coach Fartbaugh is. McCarthy, for all the grief he gets, knows how to lead a team through adversity and deal with injuries. That guy is a rock. If Fartbaugh can handle these injuries and holdouts and still field the same quality of team then he deserves a good extension.

Falcons' rookie Ra'Shede Hageman sustains hairline wrist fracture after fight at practice Sunday ajc.com/news/sports/ra…

He's a DE. 2nd round pick from this year

Update:

"@ProFootballTalk: Source: No broken wrist 4 Ra'Shede Hageman wp.me/p14QSB-9x1N"<updated @Atlanta_Falcons news. Great punch btw

Giants' David Wilson calls it quits due to neck injury. He has the right attitude: "Life will knock you down sometimes," he said. "But even if one dream seems to fade away, set another dream, set another goal and pursue that."

His replacement, Peyton Hillis, today suffered "an ankle-foot kind of thing" and will be out for "a while."

Giants are slim at RB and if they don't bring in others, it will put even more pressure on Eli to hit that 70 percent mark.

Per Packer fans constant teeth gnashing regarding our injuries...all 22 guys listed as #1 on depth chart started last night. When was the last time this happened in any game...preseason or regular season?
