Non-Packer Significant Injuries - Running Thread

I expect the Seahawks will be 3-1 against the NFC north this season; 3-2 if they face the Packers in the NFC Championship game.

Seahawks won't make the NFCCG this season. They are looking at 3rd place in the West.

Flynn is trying out in flip flops and board shorts. Its just gravy now. 

Eagles LB Kiko Alonso injured his left knee in the second quarter and didn't return. Alonso missed last season after tearing his left ACL. LB Mychal Kendricks didn't return after a hamstring injury.

I think Jones has a concussion.

Cutler getting hurt may be the best thing that could happen to the Bears if they want to move on. Cutler has talent, Clausen will help make sure they get a top-3 draft pick to take a new QB.

 

Same with Brees, though it's possible Grayson can develop at QB at least.

DeMarco Murray's hammy could be significant.

I'd pull a hammy too if I had to try to run behind that line. 

Not sure that I could do it myself, I'd probaly have to pay someone to do it for me.

Murray's hammies are taught and tuned like the wires on a baby grand. 

 

With the Jets front 7 on the docket, I think his injury today looked something like this

I think I'll try faking an injury tomorrow at work and see how that goes. 

I've never seen that TX video before, but that is HORRIBLE.  I hope Mack Brown or whomever, got raked over the coals for that.  Awful!

The TX players were just practicing for a spot on the Giants roster. Fake this.

Bears with the 1st pick would be comical. They couldn't pick the right player if Ted handed them the card.

So the Packers first pick will come immediately before Chicago's second pick. Thus completing the ultimate separation between the two franchises.

There is really some ugly football being played right now. 

ChIcago might not win a game this season and why the point spread this week isn't 20+ points in favor of Seattlle I have no idea.

New Orleans isn't that far behind either.  It's amazing how quickly that team has imploded in 3 years.  Brees got old and their drafting and developing of players has been terrible. 

Cleveland?   They have been a dumpster fire for years now.  Don't see that changing anytime soon.

Then there is the NFC East.  What an awful bunch of teams in that group.  Dallas might be the worst 2-0 team in NFL history.   The Skins are a mess and the Giants are the modern day Florida Marlins.  Win a couple of titles but every other year is a debacle.  My favorite though is Philly.  It's comical watching the "genius" Chip Kelly fail over and over again.  Dude seems to forget that football is more than just outscoring the other team.  You have to have guys that can block and tackle which they do not.  His meddling of the roster has ensured that team won't be relevant for years and after he's canned this season they will be just like the Bears and Browns.

Turns out Lynch hurt his calf VS the Packers. Carroll says he is a game time decision. Seems the Packers D tackled too hard.

I had a Bear fan tell me last night if the Bears lose by less than 50 at Seattle it should count as a victory. 

I'm not a betting man, but anyone who doesn't see the Seahawks as a lock doesn't know football...

I feel like watching a comedy today, so the Bears' game it is.

I can't decide if it was a dirty play by the DB who hit Roethlisberger.  It was low.  It should have been a penalty, but it didn't look like he was targeting the knee.
