I have a new found respect for you guys that watch Hornibrook and Hundley without going into apoplexy.
Or violent crime.

They forced Barrett to pass. It was the second down play that made the difference.
So you say there's a chance
So close to breaking that one, damn!
Fumagalli!
HORNI!
This is exciting. Win or lose
That is some questionable nonsense from the refs. Wow
How was that not pass interference?
Or offsetting holdings.
Not catchable?
Bull****, there were two penalties on that play!
Called it.
Need to get this to 4th and 5 or so.
How can we see good Horni and bad Horni on the same series so often?
aaaaaaaaaand Bad Horni is back.
We can do this.
2 downs.
20 yards.
Alex Hornibrook on 4th and 20. Talk about needing a miracle.
1 down.
20 yards.

We need Darren Sharper to play 25 yards deep on the other side.
How about God calls a pass interference call on Ohio State?
Crap.
Where the hell was he throwing that?!?!?!
That's probably a fitting ending. The Badgers QB seems to be beloved by his teammates but just isn't good enough.
Crap.

**** you, Urban.

What he throws at about 50% of the time - the wrong place.
Great game.
Had the ball twice at the end with the chance to win it and couldn't get it done.
Obviously the INT doesnβt really upset you there, but it would have been nice to give a receiver a chance there
That holding penalty was a killer.
I sincerely hope someone beats the breaks off Ohio St in the playoffs. Iβd enjoy seeing Clemson hang 60 on them.
Yup, Groshek catches the pass it would not have been 4th and real long. Lots of options then other than winging it.
Still a great season. The silver lining is O$U is going to get smoked by whoever they play next.

As always though, it wasn't a very good pass.
In a honest moment, I guess I never believed Hornibrook could win two play-off games. (or three for that matter)

I'd like to see them win it all now. But I don't think they are the best team left.

Exactly. None of the last 4 passes had any chance. You have to throw it within a catchable radius.
Hornibrook threw 14 TDs and 14 interceptions in ten Big 10 games. With a great running game and a good defense, that's not good enough.
Lots to like about the Wisconsin program from the Head Coach on down.
But there is no way that Alex Hornibrook deserves to be in a College Football Playoff game other than holding a clipboard as the 4th string QB.
Ohio State repeatedly dared him to beat them by playing 8 or 9 guys in the box and he could not.
Wish he were graduating and there was a better option waiting in the wings for UW instead of the QB for the next 2 seasons.
