In an uber-ironical twist of fate, Hank is a tweener.

Played outside in college, but he projects inside in the pros.

Will be working closely with Winston Moss during his (accelerated) 7 year development plan

Think so. Plus specialists.

Still shaking my head at his column from the other day.  Credit to Bob for his honesty, namely that he just can't suss out Ted. ROTTT indeed.

Chicago's best pizza in order- Giordano's, Pizzaria Uno/Due, Gino's, Lou Malnati's.

Portillo's sucks. If you want really good Italian Beef, you go to Al's. Make sure they soak the sammich in the Au jus. Only way to eat Italian beef.

Best German eats- Berghoff. sausage platter and pick a beer. Oh my.

If you want to eat in Chicago, that's where. If you get out to Naperville area, find The Bavarian Lodge. They have Hacker Pschorr Munich Gold on tap. Oh my goodness...

Were you involved in an industrial accident that rendered your taste buds dead or?

Coalfire and Vito & Nick's are better than anything you listed for pizza. I'll grant Giordanos is good - for the abomination that is deep dish which isn't pizza. And, Pizzeria Uno?  OMG.  I can now only assume that you simply forgot to list Sbaro?

Portillos is perfect when it comes to dogs.

Uno sucks, so many more preferable options.

I like to treat myself to a gyro the size of my head once in awhile, but the aftermath, oh the aftermath.

Grandpa was a German immigrant butcher.  Unfortunately, he had retired by the time I was born so he wasn't preparing his own cuts of meat.  But he and Grandma did do some of their shopping at the ethnic butcher shop.  Weißwurst and real German Leberwurst.  Yummy.

It's very interesting that NFL scouts/executives list Waynes as the runaway best player at cornerback, and then a different poll by McGinn has Gordon as being a better prospect than Waynes by an 8-4 margin.  How is Melvin not a top half of the first round prospect with results like that?  If he makes it to Jacksonville in round two that might be the best value pick in this entire draft.

“Pain is a relatively objective, physical phenomenon; suffering is our psychological resistance to what happens. Events may create physical pain, but they do not in themselves create suffering. Resistance creates suffering. Stress happens when your mind resists what is... The only problem in your life is your mind's resistance to the draft as it unfolds. ”

What is it about Odighizuwa that makes people think he belongs in the r1 conversation? He's Nick Perry and Courtney Upshaw with less pass rushing skill. I would take Miss St DE Preston Smith at 30 before I would take Odighizuwa.

Melvin is rated lower than Waynes because of the relative value of their positions. Gordon may be a better overall player, but Waynes is the best player at a position that is more valuable in today's NFL. Gordon won't make it past San Diego IMO.

He has an elite vowel- to- consonant ratio

Uh oh. The last time a conversation between police and player started like this was "We just want to talk Mr. Hernandez"...

Anyone hearing confirmation the Browns are in fact trading both their #1 picks to Tennessee to move to #2 so they can pick Mariota?

Sportscenter just tweeted it. Source is the ESPN Cleveland guy.

@SportsCenter: Browns offer two 1st-round picks to Titans for No. 2 overall selection, where they would plan to take Marcus Mariota. (via @PatMcManamon)

Meanwhile LaCanfora with this:

@JasonLaCanfora: Browns had already been offering up one of their 2 first rounders for Sam Bradford - 1st to STL and then to Philly. They want a new QB.

If it's true it reeks of a Chip Kelly three way "you draft Marcus and I'll trade you Bradford and picks" after the fact.

There is no damn way Cleveland uses two 1st rounders to move up to select another QB in round 1 and keep him. No possible way.

I wonder if the Browns' owner will ever choose the opinion of a homeless guy over his scouts ever again.

Only question regarding that entire scenario is this. If a 3 way back door deal like this was agreed on what would Cleveland's recourse be if Tampa screwed the apple cart and took Marcus 1 overall? Cleveland calling Chip saying, "I know it's Jameis but we still have a deal, right???"

Are these teams talking with Tampa as well to make sure everyone is on the same page?

#1 I am so damn glad our team isn't in the position to maybe take another QB in the 1st round like the Browns are. What would it be something like 3 in 4 years?

I kind of hope Chip mortgages the future for Mariota.  I think he could do well in Chips system but man at some point the Eagles are going to have to play defense and not just rely on outscoring people.  Sooner or later NFL D coordinators will catch up to him (I would argue maybe they already are), injuries can happen, or they just have a bad day.

i will admit to watching very little College football but is Mariota really this good?  Is he worth mortgaging the future on?  Don't get me wrong I think the kid seems like he has a great head on his shoulders but is he really worth it?

ChilliJohn, I will laugh outloud if Tampa takes Mariota.  And honestly I have a hunch that they will.
