It was kinda cool watching ESPN this AM and seeing them show the players riding the bikes to the practice field. Gotta be an insane experience for rookies. First day of NFL training camp, and people lined up watching you practice.

Gotta say though, I know it's just the first day and all they showed was the bike ride from Lambeau to practice, but it sure appears that Janis is still Janis.

First, he takes a kid's bike, takes the wrong route and ends up at a Cabela's instead of practice. Then when he finally did get back on the right path after Rodgers screamed at him, this...

Eddie from day 1 last year.

The girl in the pic from 2015....

Looks eerily similar to the girl in the pick from camp today...

What in the name of Willow Smith are you up to Eddie Lacy? I didn't miss those sick new purple forks for 2016 either. Bike parts aren't like buying a dozen bean burritos.

if I see one more pic of Lacy....    sheesh, I know what he looks like, let the guy play.  he's addressed it, we'll see what happens.  or start a thread with a Daily Lacy Pic so anyone who wants can fret away whether he's gained a pound or two from the day before.

It's the first day of camp with a guy who is notorious for letting himself get out of shape and he's coming off a season where it significantly affected his play.  It became such a problem that the coach cut his playing time during the season and called him out on it at the end of last season.  We could probably count on one hand the number of times MM has called out a player's conditioning and never the way he did with Lacy.

With Lacy it's never a pound or two, it's 15 or 20.  The last time he was seen  wasn't from the day before, it was from a month before.

Eddie has no one to blame for the circus but himself.  I really like the guy, but he's a big part of this team and the shape he's in is going to be an issue until he  proves it isn't.  His physical condition is relevant, for today especially.  I respect your decision not to care about it, but other fans certainly will and with good cause.  That's why I posted the pic.

After watching/listening to his post practice interview at his locker he says he's done talking about it, so hopefully that attitude/disposition on the subject keeps him motivated to keep the weight and conditioning under control.
