Sad Aaron felt the need to have to respond to The Bacholorette bullshi*, I sense this will be the 1st and last he speaks of it:

Asked after the Packers’ first training-camp practice whether the controversy created by his brother being on the show had affected him, Aaron Rodgers said, “I haven’t seen the show, to be honest with you, so it hasn’t really affected me a whole lot. As far as those kind of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters. So I’m just – I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition.

Leaner Richard Rodgers already seeing results

It’s not a huge difference but it makes a big difference with the timing with Aaron (Rodgers) and getting used to it.

WHAT??? It's a massive difference!!! I bet he now times in under a 6.0 40.

Great, the Packers had to let go of their timing manager. I suppose it was time for retirement anyway.

Maybe Ted finally has to give up a little of his super secret bonus in order to splurge on stopwatches.

A healthy Nick Perry, CMIII and Peppers could give defenses fits. Perry's health is never a given, but apparently he's finally completely healthy for the first time entering a TC/pre-season.

Something to over.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- If it doesn’t seem like there’s much buzz from the outside around rookie defensive lineman Kenny Clark, considering he’s a first-round pick, that’s not the case in the Green Bay Packers' locker room.

Pro Bowl guard Josh Sitton compared Clark to Mike Daniels, the Packers’ top defensive lineman, and the fiery Daniels himself agreed with the assessment.

“He’s short, he’s aggressive and he’s going to get up under guys and hit them in the mouth,” Daniels said. “If you have two guys doing that next to each other, it could be very, very unpleasant for offensive linemen.”

Perhaps some of that will become evident Thursday, when the Packers practice in pads for the first time after two sessions in helmets, jerseys and shorts. It’s always tough for linemen to show their stuff in non-padded practices.

“Just wait until the pads come on tomorrow,” Daniels said after Wednesday’s practice.

Daniels may be one of Clark’s biggest fans, but he’s also going to be one of his harshest critics -- he barked at Clark during Tuesday’s practice after he didn’t like something he saw -- because Daniels knows the Packers need the 27th overall pick to be ready right away.

“I get that sense,” Clark said. “They’re not putting any kind of pressure on me. They’re just making sure, like, ‘Man, you need to be solid by Game 1, and we want you to be good.’ I’m taking all of that in. I’m excited for it. I love it. I’ve been around people like that all my life. I’ve been around hard coaching all my life. I’m only going to get better.”

Daniels likes punching people in the mouth. He likes to talk about punching people in the mouth. He likes talking about other people that have the ability to punch people in the mouth.

I was very vocal that Daniels just needed to STFU and play.

He has. Repeatedly.

If Kenny Clark gets 100% of Mike Daniels demands that he get himself ready because Mike Daniels needs him to get some things done this could be a good defense.

I was rong about Mike Daniels. He was a great pick.

Trevor Davis:

"You see the big plays, but it’s the details, the fundamentals, the little things, the discipline," McCarthy said before Wednesday's practice. "So you just want to see him build off of that, because he has shown that he can make big plays, but you want him to do the details that require the offensive player to be a first-, second-, and third-down player. He’s off to a good start."

Davis doesn’t simply want to rely on his speed. He’s taken McCarthy’s comments to heart about learning the details of the position.

"All these guys I’m going up against and all the NFL people, they’ve all run the exact same time," Davis said. "It’s really the details that can set you aside, not the speed." -espn by Rob Demovsky

"

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Just about every receiver who stepped in front of the JUGS machine after practice on Wednesday had trouble with what Green Bay Packers receivers coach Luke Getsy wanted them to do.

With his back to the machine, Randall Cobb whirled around and before he could catch the ball, it drilled him in the, um, groin area."

At Packers training camp. Watching players ride kids bikes to the practice field. Fun tradition

McCarthy: Nick Perry will play a bigger role in our defense. I look for Nick to be prominent player in our defense this year.

McCarthy is adamant that OLB Nick Perry will play a larger role. Said he looks like a totally different player now that he's healthy.

Raining at practice today, not good tweeting conditions

@ByRyanWood: #Packers getting creative with S Morgan Burnett, moving him into box as hybrid nickel LB. Hadn't seen that before.

@ByRyanWood:  #Packers S Morgan Burnett, really good in box, profiles as a hybrid safety at 209 pounds. Have to wonder if he might eventually be dime LB.

Me likey the experiment. Packers' run D has been nails when 42 is crowding the LOS.

I think all the flipping of R&R between slot and outside is just another example of the D wanting to be more flexible, less predictable.  Or it's preparing one(both?) of them for more of a joker roll like Woodson had in GB.  The more places they can line up, the tougher it will be for an opposing O to guess where they may take their shots.
