dear ammo - its bad enough that you watch/read anything from that source -

you can do better

Just to clarify I found it by going to ESPN, then clicking on NFL and then teams and then Packers. The story was written by Rob Demovsky.   If it was from Shifty Shefert or any other of the Nattering Naboobs of Negativity I never would have mentioned it.

yeah....that's the problem dude. Don't do that. Ever. For any reason.
Anything that happens after that is irrelevant to your case. We find you guilty of media stupidity and sentence you to 5 more years of reading this board.

As far as Demovsky, the Fanatical FlightAware Follower...not a fan anymore. He used to be pretty decent, but then he went to the dark side and traded journalism for sensationalism.  I have no need for his services

There is a clip somewhere of Carlin talking about the stupidity of Americans, the lemming mentality. He refers to an survey where people were asked who do you trust?

#1 response was Walter Cronkite. That makes sense, he was one of the last to actually, mostly, just report factual news. And when he did editorials, he'd let us know that's what he was doing.

#2 response was Betty Crocker. A fictional character made up in the 1920's.

No wonder we are where we are today.

I really don't want to jinx this kid, but MVS is having a hell of a camp and looks primed to have a huge year..

Me either.  If he TRULY has put it together and can keep it up in the regular season against starting CBs it will be a boon.

Rodgers appreciates the maturation of receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to start Year 4.

โ€œI donโ€™t want to talk about the receiver. I want to talk about the person,โ€ Rodgers said. โ€œThe person is in a way different headspace. He is so settled mentally. Very clear, very present.โ€

Rodgers called Valdes-Scantling a โ€œtrue professionalโ€ and a โ€œleaderโ€ in the receiver room who is โ€œvery comfortableโ€ in the Packers scheme. He credited the maturity off the field as a big driver of his consistency on the field during training camp.   ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

From my boy friendโ€™s press conference todayโ€ฆโ€ฆ.

If you follow the kid on Twitter, he just seems so much more confident and a much happier person. The way he picks on poor Kenny Clark...

Good for MVS.  Dude has been criticized by a lot of people despite the fact heโ€™s a mid round pick and was easily their best playmaker against the Bucs in the NFCCG.

You know Adams will play well this year but if MVS takes the next step this should be a really fun team to watch.  And tough to defend.

As for Chandon Sullivan.....yeah Iโ€™ll skip him although lots of guys get worked by Davante.

Aint no stopping them now!

Injured in 2019, didn't play at all in 2020.

Did you really think he'd make it thru all of 2021 without an injury?

I stand by what I said. One significant injury in his career. Nothing has changed. This is a tight hamstring, not an ACL tear. I think one of two things happened here:

1. The Packers determined he's not a good fit. This is a little cleaner than just cutting him.

2. Funchess is losing or has lost his desire to play football after basically two years of not playing.

There was an interview on the radio the day he was cut. I forget which reporter it was but he made it sound like Funchess was a real flake. Not necessarily in a bad way but he's just a really different guy and didn't seem to be the type of worker that Davante, Lazard, MVS and others are. He also said during a press conference this year he went on and on about all the businesses he's gotten involved in over the past 2 years with all his free time. He might just be ready to move on to the next chapter of his life.

I saw Rodger's presser where he said MVS the person has changed so much, more mature and professional now, something along those lines

He sure didn't play with any lack of desire in the one pre-season game.  He seemed really fired up to be out there, and excited afterwards too.

I do agree it seemed odd the way this went down and lean more towards the first option.  I actually wonder if the Asian slur played into it.  He was looking like the 6th best receiver physically with an entire injury-filled season coming up and it was just *poof* he's gone.  It seemed really premature, like they wanted him out of the locker room ASAP.

Yeah, but more goes into football than just getting up for games. You have to want to put in the work the other 6 days a week too.

Don't know.. and I guess we won't know until the injury settlement comes around and he becomes a free agent. If he signs with another team then it's probably option 1.
