Serves you right for listening to ESPN😝
Well I have to get my East Coast Sports News somehow.

I completely agree but I don't see that happening with this defense and a new DC with a very poor track record. I think the offense will be lights out. Crossing my fingers that the D can hold their own but its not likely.
Based upon your glass mostly empty attitude in game threads, I wouldn't expect you to see a Super Bowl win.

I'm sure I've over-reacted a time or two during the heat of the moment like most fans but feel I'm pretty objective overall. It is a sports blog afterall. Maybe you should consider visiting other sites based on your obsession with always trying to find something to be offended about in game threads.....
@packerboi posted:I get that MLF really likes the intersquad practices but damn, these injuries are ugly. Remember, Sternburger's season got derailed in one of these when he got nailed in the head and it took him a long time to recover from the concussion.
I just wonder if these guys up it a notch so to speak and go harder then they should when practicing with another team.
Lawson's injury would be brutal for the Jets.
I like the intersquad practices but I think I'd like to see a different approach. Choose a team where the coaching staffs have a good relationship and make that your long term TC partner. Don't base it on your preseason schedule. Now if we are talking Packers then the team that fits that description the best would be the Jets, so...
From everything I've read from those at the joint practices;
-- Interior offensive and defensive lines have been the weakest areas (although neither Clark or Lowry practiced yesterday)
-- All other position groups appeared to have played well

Where did they have Elgton Jenkins playing?
Long snapping. Versatile dude.
Eating hot dogs with Bill Brasky.
Either give Jenkins some snaps at TE or GTFO.

Exclusively at LT. Without Bak we could go into week 1 with two rookies starting on O-line, next to each other. AR has been praising Meyer at Center, but acknowledged that he had a tough day vs. Jets in first practice. Said they were changing fronts and Meyer had a difficult time with it. Looks like the guard positions are unsettled with Runyan, Patrick, Braden, & Newman all running with the "1s" at times, but none looking consistently good.
Can Rodgers continue to wear the red jersey for the first few regular season games?
New WR. Doesn't sound like much more than a camp body.
LOL, 12 WR's in camp

The O-Line has to be considered a bit of a question mark at this point. Our best O-Line last year was Bahktiari, Jenkins, Linsley, Turner, and Wagner together. Of those 5, I expect that only Jenkins and Turner will be out there on week 1 and Jenkins will be at a new position.
It’s possible it will take a few regular season games before this group can truly start to gel with all the new moving parts.
As long as they are not moving before the snap. 🙏
Yes, although our o-line was terrific (other than the 2 TB games) last season, with 2 new starters until Bak comes back, & crowd noise to deal with, I don't see it being as easy as it seemed last year. MLF may have to throw the ball more than he'd like.
@RobDemovsky: Here’s a bit of a surprise: the Packers are releasing 2020 fifth-round pick Kamal Martin, a source said.
The Packers never give their draft picks enough time to develop.
Lulz. You mean that oft injured 5th round ILB didn't pan out as a dominate force inside?
Wow. For a position that is far from stacked that's a surprise for sure. Guess they didn't like him at OLB either.
Packers CB Ka’dar Hollman isn’t at practice and it’s not injury related.

Another possible cut.
Hollman just disappeared after his first camp. Ento probably taking his spot.
I'm surprised by the Martin cut. Oren Burks and Ty Summers stick but Martin goes? I have to assume there is something more to it then performance on the field.
I'm guessing injury. He's hurt already I believe.
Other than a few splash plays last preseason and early in the schedule Martin looked totally lost when on the field. No ST contribution worth noting either.

They are obviously making room for Clay to return. What number will he wear with Gary using 52 now?
Gary will get a Segway and a case of hair care products to swap numbers.

he will snag # 57 to honor his Dad
Not if Ray Wilborn has anything to say about it lol

Acquiring Ka'Dar Hollman from Packers via a trade, per league source. Texans add a big corner 6-foot-, 196 pounds, former sixth-round draft pick from Toledo. Had 10 tackles, three passes defended in 14 games and one start last season for Green Bay https://t.co/W1I1sixj6c

If we get a 6th rounder back for Hollaman that we basically traded Cobb for Hollaman.
I think it's the other way.
Got a 7th in 2022 for Hollman.

Not that surprised...given his injury history, it was not a great pick. I think they realized he wasn't a fit inside, and gave him one last try on the outside...which anyone who watched him the last two games saw wasn't his position either.
Good college player, but that's about it.
Shows what a failure Gutekunst is.
Again, using "value on ST" is not a vindication for sucking up a roster spot. The ST are fucking horrible. There is no player that is a "ST ace" because ST fucking sucks.
I highly doubt Martin was let go because of scheme. He was a productive player with the Goofers until his knee and he's never been the same.
