Ha Ha was typically in position to do something, he just avoided contact.
JJ avoided contact not out of fear of getting physical, he was just seldom close enough to a receiver to have contact make a difference (unless he grabbed the receiver for DPI).

I have a sneaking suspicion his "injury" is keeping him off other teams radar so they can stash him on the practice squad until we have 3 or 4 WR's hit free agency next year.

I get that MLF really likes the intersquad practices but damn, these injuries are ugly. Remember, Sternburger's season got derailed in one of these when he got nailed in the head and it took him a long time to recover from the concussion.
I just wonder if these guys up it a notch so to speak and go harder then they should when practicing with another team.
Lawson's injury would be brutal for the Jets.

that's a distinct possibility, these guys are fighting for a spot. The 2 coaching staffs have been in sync as far as managing the violent hits, but some of these are non-contact injuries.
At the same time, we do go through this every year... as soon as TC opens up... the ACL's/Achilles start snapping.
Some idot on ESPN said it probably happened because Lawson was mixing it up with David Bakhtiari. Dumb shit didn't even know Bak is out with a ACL.
