I heard from a friend of mine who works for an NFL team that word on the street is the Packers are open to trading Love if it's for a 2nd or better, and it would have to be high enough 2nd at that. Teams have offered as much as a high 4th, and the Packers have basically laughed it off.

This is all driven by the fact Love and his agent are saying he wants to play, not so much that the Packers have given up on him.

My gut says the Packers won't be trading him.

They should trade him...let him play...draft another prospect in the 4-7 range...

Or find a vet from another team.

The same agent that also represent Aaron Rodgers. LOL-So he does all he can do to make sure Aaron gets the highest price he can from the Packers at the same time representing Jordan Love who wants to play. No conflict of interest there is there?

Watching a repeat of the Ohio State at Michigan game from November of 2021. Lots of potential Packers players in that game. Chris Olave, Gerritt Wilson and Jeremy Ruckert from OSU and Daxton Hill, David Ojabo, John Ross, Hassan Haskins, and Ada Hutchinson, who could go Number 1, overall, tonight. Olave and Wilson catching everything, Haskins looking like AJ Dillon pushing the pile for extra yards. Haskins would look good in Green and Gold, IMO, if Gute is looking for a RB.

Trade thought:   Love & #22 to Houston for #13 & #37

But, I keep going back to the comments about how if Love was in this draft he'd be in the conversation of being in the top 2 or 3 QBs. So, if that is accurate why trade him unless it is an offer they can't refuse?

Because certain people on this board have determined that Love is a bust?

All playing against college players. Can they adapt to the NFL?

How's this for a trade? Love + #28 for Atlanta's #8 pick...If you look at the value of where he was drafted (2 years ago), plus the value of #28, they are quite close to the value of the #8 pick. It's a win-win. We get #8, they get Love and a late 1st, and we still have #22.

Only one problem with that scenario.  Jordan Love has shown absolutely nothing so far.
