Sure. Good luck with that repeating.

Besides Olave, who are the WRs from O State that he couldn't beat out?
Garrett Wilson?
I still kind of think Pierce, Bell and Ezukanma might be the guys if Bell slips some, similar but better (and earlier) than Moore, MVS and ESB. Jalen Nailor from Michigan State is another guy I could see them liking.
My ultimate call is we end up with both Ohio state guys
They would make a great tandem, but that's not likely to happen.
OK...this mock I like...not too many picks, with only one trade...I traded down with Miami in the third, dropping down to 102, moving up to 125 in the 4th, and giving up #171 in the 5th. After that...a long wait until the 7th round, but all the damage was done early, and the Packers get a haul.
London will be long gone by 22...but I'd love to be rong.
Yeah...same here....could also be said of Johnson...but...that's how that mock draft turned out...every time it's different...
If Penning makes it to them Iâd also think theyâd heavily consider taking him. Heâs probably a RT-only, depressing his value, but could likely start mauling fools day 1.
Boo-lager vibes
I'd love to see London and only way I would see him drop is if his injury lingered and prevented his workouts. Maybe. But he seems recovered from his fractured ankle so I assume he goes way earlier than 22.
The Chris Simms scouting report on London says to me, let someone else have him.
**********
I really like him; one of the greatest 50-50 ball receivers Iâve ever seen. His size is elite, uses it to benefit his skill set/play. His route running is good.
He doesnât pull away from defenders, separation does concern me, that is why he is number 5 for me. Lacks true line explosion and power. Yards after catch are not great, doesnât break tackles nor break away from defensive back.
Heâs a big receiver, heâs not going to move like Tyreek Hill. Neither Adams nor Jordy did either.
I did have a choice, there, at #28. I only took London because he was the highest-rated WR on the board. I could have chosen Burks or Dotson. I do suspect that guys like Watson and Pierce are going to get drafted higher than we think...there may be a wild run on receivers, given the fact their average pay just went up substantially.
The closest thing the Packers have ever had to Tyreek Hill is Randall Cobb. They took Rodgers hoping he will become that again...but this offense needs one tall, deep guy and one guy you can count on to run crisp routes and find holes in zones. At the moment, have neither.
Take Watson from NDSU at 28...you've got a tall fast guy, one problem solved.
So, the question remains...if Jameson Williams drops to 22, do you take him?
My preference is Alec Pierce at 28, or a trade down a few spots and grab an extra pick, and still get him. However it plays out, I don't know how much I'd gamble on passing over a WR you want in this draft in the hopes you'll get him later on...

Tough decision but with the clock ticking on Aaron Rodgers career, I say no. They canât waste a year for this guy to recover.
do not draft any injured players.
Get Claypool.
The Steelers have him for two more years on a cheap contract. Why would they move him?

Heâll be in GB long after Rodgers is gone - terrorizing defenses.
Also a good point... ð
Just not this year...
Granted...it's all smoke & mirrors right now, but I like this...plus the other receivers on the list...
This was an interesting exercise.
22. *Traded with the Texans for #37 and #68*
28. Boye Mafe Edge Minnesota
37. Alec Pierce WR Cincinnati
53. Jalen Pitre DB Baylor - Like Dax Hill or Jevon Holland a safety prospect who can play the hybrid "star" position in the slot.
59. Nicholas Petit Frere OT Ohio State - Candidate to start at RT this year.
68. Erik Ezukanma WR Texas Tech
92. Leo Chenal ILB Wisconsin - At worst he's a special teams missile, but preferably displaces Barnes as the starter
132. Zachary Carter DE Florida - With Jaran Reed signed, they can wait a bit and take a DE prospect.
140. *Trade (along with #228, #249) with Philly for #154 and #166*
154. Charlie Kolar TE Iowa State
166. DeAngelo Malone Edge Western KY - Situational pass rusher and Special Teams hunter, a Kyler Fackrell type.
171. Jalen Nailor WR Michigan State - Returner and Special Teams guy.
258. Tycen Anderson DB Toledo - Special Teams gunner and developmental safety.

One of the mockers at PFF said he could be ready for TC.
Not sure about their ranking but some good WR info.
Interesting they have Watson as far down as they do. Seems to be more common opinion from pundits who really lay out the receivers' qualities.
Thoughts on Todd McShay's draft.

Projected as a day 3 pick? I fully expect the Packers to trade into the top 10 to pick him
Interesting breakdown of team needs.
Not a massive fan of Jahan Dotson...but I'd be OK with the pick. Not as good as Olave, but would fit a need. Wouldn't mind Packers passing on WR with this pick and going after a Watson at 28...because he fills a two more specific needs. Don't care that he is an FCS kid. 17 played at Fresno State...you can find studs many places.
Kenyon Green is a massive reach at 28 for the Packers..they compare him to Elgton Jenkins...the dude's relative athletic score is 5.9...Elgton's was 9.34 one of the highest all time for an interior OL. He also played every spot at on the OL at MSU which is what vaulted him so high. Green has only played G, and isn't that athletic...for that reason I don't think they'd take him in the 5th round much less the 1st.
McBride would be good...closest thing measurables-wise as George Kittle this year. Like him exponentially more than Likely from Coastal Carolina...that kid has bust written all over him. Not sure the Packers put that much value on TE to take him in R2. There are some super athletic dudes the Packers can get at TE later in the draft...Virginia's Jelani Woods has an RAS of 10, Dan Bellinger from San Diego State has an RAS of 9.66...he will fall because his idiot OC didn't know how to use him properly...Packers could get him in R5-7 and get a steal. Also a big fan of Kolar from Iowa State.
Drake Jackson would be a good pick in that spot...but I think the Packers may take Mafe from Minnesota before. Or Karlaftis from Purdue who will work his ass off.
Central Michigan OL?
@YATittle posted:Thoughts on Todd McShay's draft.
Meh...
Dotson at #22?
Better OL than Green...besides, we need a tackle, not a guard.
Maybe McBride in 2nd
Drake Jackson? No. Give me Sam Williams or Boye Mafe or Cam Thomas.

Yeah, that seems to be about right. I would add another LB, too...someone like Quay Walker, or Brandon Smith, or Leo Chenal would be nice.

I like Woods and Bellinger, as well. Kolar, Krull, and Ruckert wouldn't be bad, either. But the biggest weapon may be Woods, with his athleticism. Grab him late third or early 4th.
