If you told me...."Hey check out these Aaron Jones highlights..." I would've 100% believed you.

Looks to have slower football speed than Jones did at the same age.

Looks shifty and solid between the tackles, with just enough speed to turn the corner and break off some longer runs.  Looks good to me playing against SEC defenses.

Giving up Lazard, Lowry and Reed for three picks is a big win.

He's just sleek. It’s fun to watch him glide through a crease and jet upfield.

My only worry is he has that Chris Brown running style where his ribs/torso are open to hits repeatedly.

Texans sign former Titans running back Chris Brown

25. Green Bay Packers – Nate Wiggins (CB – Clemson)

I’m sticking with a cornerback here, but I’ve flipped the pick from Ennis Rakestraw to Nate Wiggins, mostly to account for the Packers’ well-established preference for freakish athletes. Wiggins isn’t as polished in coverage as Rakestraw, but figures to test better. It’s possible Green Bay would like to see what Eric Stokes offers, but I’m not sure they can count on him.

I was waiting to post my pick for #25 if they stay there, and this is it. A little light in the shorts but they can fix that.

I'm nearly certain if they stay at #25, it's going to be OL/CB because that will most likely be the best players left on the board.

I just finished a mock and I also picked Nate Wiggins at #25.  Did not want to go OL there and CB is a sneaky need for GBP. Just not sure of Stokes, either.

Wiggins weighed in at the combine at 173...that is going to take him off a lot of people's 1st round grades...Packers minimum weight for CB traditionally has been 190lbs. If he was 185...maybe they'd take a flyer in R1...I just don't see it at 25. If he's still there at 41...maybe...

Maybe bring back Lacy to train him.

Looks like a Gutekunst-type draft, including a day-3 guy nobody paid attention to or from a school nobody has heard of. .

The one I wonder about is Paul. They've never spent a draft pick on an OT that tall that I can think of. The only ones that height have been maybe Nijman, Veldheer, Kelly and Tenuta.

Of course guys that tall who have been good prospects are pretty rare and they've not been in position to take Boselli, Ogden or D'Brick, either.

In reality, even if there I don't see Gutey taking JPJ in R1...he just wouldn't value a C...even a generational tallant, that high. More likely to take an OT prospect in that slot, CB or edge guy.

As much as I'd like to see Chop Robinson...a Dwight Freeney type edge specialist, I don't see it happening either.

Don't think Bish will be there R4 as athletic as he tested. And Purdon't RB Tracy helped himself immensely in the combine too. With the absence of 33, Packers need to address a shifty speed guy to compliment JJ. Jaylen Wright, Trey Benson, Tracy, etc.

My mock for the day...  I missed out on Chop Robinson in the 2nd, took Morgan, and drafted Kneeland next at Edge to fill Kingsley's role. I passed on the early linebackers... I ended up with 2 versatile O-Linemen, a safety to pair with McKinney, a home-run hitter at RB to pair with Josh Jacobs, 2 Corners, a stud D-lineman, another stud TE who can take the H-Back role, two LB's late (we'll need a free agent), and a WR with potential to develop.

I'm wondering if anyone has changed their outlook on draft needs or priorities with yesterday's changes.

I still think OL, LB, CB, and S are still needs.
OL and LB may need starter-level players.
Still questions for DBs depending on the health of Stokes and if Nixon is resigned or not.
RB may/may not be as much of a need depending on what happens with Dillon.

I can't see TE as a position of need since they resigned Davis.
And always need some depth for the DL.

One position I'd like to see the team address is LS. Shouldn't require a draft pick to take care of that, unless one is versatile enough to also be depth for the OL.

Does Zinter have versatility??

6'6, 309 with 33 1/2" arms...he has the frame for the Packers to play OT.

Sounds like he played both guard spots and C at various points in his career. That may be why the Packers like him...they prefer big C and perhaps he can push Myers.

When will his knee be ready to practice?

I think it was his ankle that he broke not a knee so he should be good to go by camp.

also if trying to push a tOSU guy drafting a potential Mich replacement could be just the right button to push.
