What an excellent observation. If only we had a coach who was clever enough to scheme around shortcomings. ( even though none of the Packers have any)

I bet Belichick would know what to do, he's a genius.

You don't want to run a search for "Mexican Squirt". You've been warned. One of those things you can't unsee. I'm going to go wash my eyes out with regret.

This thread really devolved (if you believe in evolution that is) in a hurry. Not sure I quite understand what the angst about Satanori saying Bahk has shortcomings is? He does. All players do. There's not a perfect player in the league and no player is above criticism. None of us are experts, pointing out that someone is not an expert because they disagree with you a poor way to argue your own point.

Satanori - I didn't list anyone from Seattle or San Fran because they're in the same situation everyone else is in. Justin Smith, Ray McDonald and the OLB (Brooks maybe?) are all power and no speed while Aldon Smith is all speed and no power. All the rushers for Seattle are all speed except for Michael Bennett and he's kind of mix. Ironically Bahk gets to practice against two of the handful of players who can beat you with speed or power every day: Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers. That's a gift for him.

The truly great combination players in the league (IMO) are: Robert Quinn, Greg Hardy, Mario Williams, Charles Johnson, CM3, Julius Peppers, and JJ Watt. I think these guys can set you up and beat you either way, they're very unique athletes. That's not to say other pass rushers in the league aren't as good, certainly guys like Jared Allen, Robert Mathis, Tamba Hali, etc. are elite pass rushers, but don't possess that unique ability to beat you in multiple ways. Some of them get sacks on sheer motor, some pure speed, some raw power.

Jayrone Elliot is high on that list.  Haven't heard his name mentioned much in training camp, so I decided to look at some game film, (Toledo vs. No. Illinois).

Spoiler alert: He makes some athletic plays, is a bit slow to recognize plays on occasion and gets hurt and has to leave the game.

No biggie, but I think some folk's had angst because the statement was a direct response to the ONE SINGLE ONLY time Bakh fugged up.

Apparently AJ Hawk ran straight in to a blocker once, Capers did a facepalm and they sent Hawk on a Fanta run.

Tretter looked good. Impressed he played in a monsoon with a QB he's probably not getting a lot of work with in camp and there were no botched snaps. I think Tenn. had 2-3 snap exchange screw ups early.
