Possession is 9/10s of the law .... Dez should be well aware of that from his younger years.

They do, but can't cry anymore as their expert broke it down to say it was a correct call. They won't cry on the air at least, but might be bixching inside:-)

Wow, what a great game.  Rodgers was normal incredible self (even under less than normal circumstances).  Nice job stepping up by Devante Adams.

Great win, the Cowboys played like a contender.

I couldn't bring myself to blog during the game, I wanted all my attention on the screen.

I don't see Bryant making any sort of purposeful move. I think he fell after the catch and the ball came out. In fact I'm not sure he actually ever truly possessed the ball. It was the right call.

Don't get the Aikman/Buck hate. I think they are fair and were kneeling down on AR after the game. I actually like them. Not sexually.

I agree with the call, it was incomplete by rule, but that rule sucks, (even tho I'm lovin' it right now).

If Dez doesn't try to extend to the end zone and just goes down its a catch. Even crazier. If Dez does stick that ball accross the goal line and breaks the plane before hitting the ground its 6. Even if the ball comes out after he hits the ground.

Correct call, insane rule.  Much like the tuck rule.  Need to just trust your eyes and not word smith the game to death in the rule book.

Does the rule really suck? I think the Calvin Johnson call in 2010 was bogus, but to me this is the perfect example of why the rule exists. You have to possess the ball all the way to the ground, Dez didn't.

I agree, shiitty rule, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna apologize for this team being the beneficiary of a questionable rule. Hell if we don't deserve one of those every now and again.

I wish they would change the rule.  Since it's introduction it has done more harm than good.

The NFL needs to change there rules every week. When it helps the Girls the rules needs to be reinforced,  when it hurts them it needs to be reversed on the spot/

I hope those people at fox sports feel as bad as I do, I have one hell of a case of the flue.

Agreed Tavis.  Buck and Aikman do a solid job of covering a game.

Among the announcing crews that frequently cover the Packer games I put them second to Al Micheals and Chris Collinsworth, (who also get their share of hate from Packer fans).

 

Dez Bryant lost a $50,000.00 earring during an NFL game once. Let's not worry about Dez' thoughts.
